I was really shocked today, I was out walking and got two Miis come to streetpass plaza, I didn't notice anybody and my 3DS was in my bag, in sleep mode - was really cool to see it in action!

I saw two people playing their 3DS's today, and didn't get a hit from either of them! What's up with that?
They were playing it. The 3DS has to be in sleep mode for Streetpass to work.

First hit today, on the first occasion that I brought it along to eat in a crowded area. I love this feature, so much more than normal online; it makes me constantly check the little light now to see if anything is happening, and I want to bring it everywhere with me to seek out players.
HOWEVER - my dilemma: how can I carry this dang thing when I don't have a bag of any sort with me? Sometime I have my laptop bag, so that's fine, but for just going to the store... it looks absurd and enormous in my pants pockets. I'm going to need to get some kind of nondescript pouch, but I hate carrying things like that around.

Me and my brother have walked past each other like 50 times, and I haven't recieved his Mii. They were in sleep mode. Does it have to be on the menu, or in the middle of the game? Its really starting to tick me off. Thanks.
And street pass is enabled, and what not.

I think just idly sitting on the menu in sleep mode is fine. Also make sure the wireless switch is enabled. You could also check under System Settings and see that StreetPass is enabled for sure.

I've only had two hits and I carry my 3DS with me to work and when I go around the shops. A bit disappointing so far.

My heros used to all be cats, but when I inputed that I preferred dogs, all I see are hired dog heroes now.

I work in a school with around 650, eleven to fourteen-year-old kids. Someone said that one of the kids had a 3DS at school, and I've been wanting to call him down to the office so I can 'street pass' him. But that even sounds creepy to me! LOL But there's just no other way to put it. I need to think of a good excuse to have him sent to the office.
