Link to photos of the StreetPass Mansion Puzzles that I've taken. The colours of the pieces vary on different consoles (why?) so concentrate on the shapes of the pieces only. The last piece is missing because when a puzzle is completed it zooms in and you can't see all the puzzle anymore.

I'm having trouble with the Berzerkers and my pitiful army of 2,500.

I found I needed 5 times as many troops as Beserkers in the enemy army. You'll need a lot of play coins, but if you expand the castle you'll get loads more troops for your money. Don't use the spy option because it just tells you it's Beserkers, which is no help at all.

When you upgrade your castle, do you get more troops for less play coins?
Right now, it costs:
5PC for 120 troops
10PC for 300 troops
15PC for 700 troops

Yes, sort of - more troops for the 5, 10 and 15 play coins options. Well, my castle is level 8 right now and I can get

5 play coins - 360 soldiers
10 play coins 900 soldiers
15 play coins 2250 soldiers

I've conquered 13 out of 20 countries and expanded the castle at every opportunity. I don't know if the size of your army makes a difference to how many soldiers you can hire for a certain amount of play coins or if it's fixed in every game. I've got 451,493 soldiers at the moment. Hope that helps.

Nevermind, I somehow beat the berserkers with only 2.6k troops

I had a serious WTF moment on StreetPass battle today.
Basicly, I went to Hyper Japan expo in London today knowing I'd get a fair few hits on my 3DS.
I understand that some people will have gotten through the StreetPass games rather quickly, maybe they run stands at exhibitions, or have jobs in busy public areas and get plenty of StreetPass hits, and there's even those that cheat by time traveling.
Anyway, the point I want to make is that I was checking my rankings on StreetPass battle, expecting to see some high numbers. I have a few guys ranked above me with well over 100,000 troops. But what struck me as odd was that the guy rated as mightiest monarch has a troop count of 9,999,999.
The guy is from Japan and from what I understand is that StreetPasses are pretty easy to get over there. But what I dom't get is how he's managed to get such a huge troop total considering that the new games have only been available for a few weeks now.
I'm wondering if there's been some form of cheating or maybe he had glitch that jumped the numbers, either way, to get to 9,999,999 in such a short time makes me suspicious.

@dizzy_boy That doesn't seem too unbelievable to me. I don't think there's a cheat other than perhaps he farms play coins. I just surpassed a million soldiers in my army. I'm pretty sure the amount of soldiers your enemies command is based on how large your army is to begin with. Both times I've faced the Emperor, he has had 8 times the amount of men as me. It never increases though, so even if I add to my numbers, his remains the same. If someone starts with a large army, getting to 10 million would probably only take 3 or 4 playthroughs.

On my first playthrough I began with a little over 1000 soldiers (from my Plaza), and wound up with about 50K. I increased my army by about 50 times.

I started with about 50K on my second playthrough, and wound up with about 950K. I increased my army by nearly 20 times.

Just started my third playthrough, and because I have so many troops to begin with, my enemies also have a lot. I won my first battle and added an additional 60K troops (enemy had 600K+). I am now over one million, and if the previous playthroughs are any indication, I will increase that size greatly. Granted, I doubt I will hit 10 million because recruiting mercenaries hardly adds a drop to the bucket that is my army (currently I can get 7500 troops for 15 play coins), but getting 10% of the armies I face is going to grow mine fairly quickly. I estimate I'll wind up around 5 million after this playthrough.

Anyway, I'm enjoying these games (except Flower Town), but these games do highlight just how low the current Play Coins limits are. With pay games now requiring Play Coins, Nintendo really needs to raise these maximums. It's basically forcing people to farm coins. At least raise them for the people who paid for the new games.

Screenshot of my most recent battle. And I've never used a cheat. I'm halfway through my 3rd playthrough. I'll reach 10 million during my 4th playthrough, I'd imagine.

@Klimbatize, fair enough, I see your point. Still, it just seemed to be a bit odd the guy had hit all the 9's like that as I StreetPass him, so it's understandable I was a little suspicious of that figure.

It's probably the max size of an army.

Any of them is great to start with. It's best to try each one after another, so that you get the basics down, and get the most out of your Streetpasses, rather than focusing on just one game.

By the way, 9,999,999 is the max size your army can get. Just reached it the other day. That's why he had a weird number like that.

I leve them all!

I'm not very good at Shoot 'em ups but I enjoy Mii Force very much. All the weapons and upgrades are awesome. Very well played. Ninty.
Love Warrior's way. Everyday I go to a video game store just to StreetPass this girl and battle he and get my army to grow. Still in the 6th country, though. So far I've been winning against stronger enemies, so it''s never been about luck. I really demands you to be strategic. Sometimes by giving the enemy a round away so you can use your stronger groups winning the other two. If you've been ther you'll get it.
Just completed the first floor on Mansion, all the floor. That one makes you think on the pieces layout, I like that very much becouse not always the bigger piece is the better. Know what i mean?
Wasn't a big fan of Garden at the beginning, but I kindda got the hang of it and by the time you grow about five plants it get's a little more complex. It's stops being just this game where you put whatever plant on your table to get watered. You star to pay attention to the kind of seed's gonna give you, even the color for a specific job. Just give it a try.

I know it all sounds like it has no proper redaction, and i'm sorry about that but English's not my native languaje, so bare with me, please.
Now, I wanna ask you something, guys...

1. What if i don't have some of the previous hats that now have a complete outfit like the Luigi or DK hats? Will this outfits still appear in the exchange boot? And if they do, getting the outfit will give you the hat too? I already got all the first hats, so I have no way of knowing this but this but I just gotta know. So please, help a brother out XD

2. I haven´t count the total hats, but you need al four games tickets in order to get all hats, right?

3. On Army's Way, if your men got reduced by losing the first clash but win the battle. Do you lose those men at the end? If you win the battle you will always win more man, but it's not like if it says "you lose these and win these, so you ended up with these". I don't know if you've made some conclutions up that if you win without losing any men you get more at the end or something like that.

4. Finally, how does terrain affects negatively on you're army? I mean, I know you may lose if you use that fraction. But literally, how does affect? Does that fraction always lose no matter what? Does your numbers get reduced to half and you still can win if you have doubles? Doesn't get reduced and just have the half the power but the same amount of soldiers? Whaaat?

Thanks in advance, guy =)

@Sherman - I'll do my best to answer all of your questions, and your English is fine for your comment, even better than some of the other people who occasionally surface here ...

1. The earlier hats you can't buy with Plaza Tickets can only be obtained through playing Find Mii (it might appear as something like StreetPass Quest or a Spanish-equivalent of that) and are not related to the hats/outfits bought with Plaza Tickets. For example, getting the Luigi hat doesn't automatically give you the Luigi Costume and vice versa.
2. There are actually a large number of hats available through Plaza Tickets, way more than 4. I'm thinking the number is somewhere around 100. Don't worry if you can't obtain 4 Plaza Tickets a day to get the day's selection of hats; the stock will change daily, and one you missed should show up again eventually.
3. I don't believe you can lose men through battling. Any men lost during the battle may affect the outcome of said battle, but it's not like they've died permanently or quit your army after being defeated. The only way to lose men is to assign them to become builders to upgrade your castle.
4. If you think of your army divisions in terms of being rock, paper, or scissors, then a terrain change with convert a division into a 4th type of faction (not fraction) weak against all types of opponent. You can still win with that faction (especially if you heavily outnumber your opponent), but you're less likely to do so.

Exactly.

Actually, you do lose men if you lose a battle. 10% of your army flees after each loss.

Thanks, @Birdman. But I think I wasn't as clear as I wanted. Let me try again...

I know how to get the Find Mii, Find Mii 2 and Secret Quest hats. I've already got all of them. I know the exchange boot will choose 4 hats at a time everyday and eventually it willl start from the first hat all over again in case I missed one. And I also know getting a Find Mii hat won't give you the outfit. So...

1. If I dind't have the Link Hat. Will the boot still sell me the Link costume? And if I buy it, will Iwear it without the hat? Or it will simply sell me some other stuff instead until I get the hat?

2. I meant that you need to buy all four games to get all of the exchange boot hats/outfits, right? There must be 90 hats if I'm counting correctly:
22 tickets on each game, that's 88 hats/outfits right there, plus1 Pixel Mario hat you get on the Mii Plaza update, plus 1 free ticket you get when the Exchange Boot opens which you use to get another hat/outfit equals 90 hats/outfits. So, your missing 22 thickets (hats/outfits) for each game you don't get. That's what I was asking for, but I'm pretty sure now it's like this.

Edit: I forgot about the hats you get with puschase of every game. So, four more. And those have a space below each one. Bosses hats maybe? So, more than 90. Close to 98 then.

3. OK. It just feels as if you lose men at a clash you earn less men at end of the battle. It might be just me, I don't know. My thought was that the game should reward you better if you play better, as in no losing any men and winning in two rounds. Well, I don't know.

4. Got it! These factions will always get reduced by any other factions. Like the opposite of the ninja factions that will always reduce other factions in half.

Note: I don't know if any of you is like me and want to have everything in any game. Included this one (or these ones), but there's something wrong here: You can´t have al Warrior's Way songs and at the same time have a perfect record of all wins because you need to lose in order to get those two "defeated" songs. I don't know if there's other way to get these song but here's what I did: Started the game then lose as soon as I possibly could and got the songs, then I went to Plaza Config and deleted Warrior's Way progress. Started from scratch and now I got the songs too. If you're not to far in the game and want the songs now you know. I like my new shogun's castle better anyways =P

Yes, I know. You don't lose any men during an actual battle, even if you lose one of the rounds.

I'm saying you only lose men if you lose an invasion attempt.

I don't have any streetpasses at the moment so I'm just using the coins. Personally, I actually like the flowers game the best, because it teaches you something. I like it when I can learn stuff from games, and I had zero knowledge about flowers types.
