Now that all regions have the new StreetPass games, I thought fhat it might be ideal to set up this thread to discuss opinions on the new games, plus ask for tips and advice on them aswell.
Also, if anybody is stuck on either of the quest games, then that can be discussed here too.

I'm liking the 4 new games and the new plaza is awesome!

Yeah, the new layout is pretty nice.
I also noticed that that mii's in the plaza had been split between those I've met by StreetPass and the one's met by invitation.
Something else I'm glad that got added is that you can now filter mii's on StreetPass quest. When you go to hire allies, if you press x, you can sort the mii's by colour and level, which is reallly handy.
The colour filter option is the best bit for me because I'm colour blind and have trouble with telling the difference between the blue and purple mii's, I also struggle with the orange and light green aswell.

So.... am I crazy or do I not know how to buy the bundle of all 4 games together? Seems like I can only purchase them separately.

When you go to purchase your first game of the bunch, it'll offer you the choice between just the one you've chosen or all four.

Some of the treasures in Mii Force/StreetPass Squad can be quite hard to find.

Off the top of my head, these are the most difficult.

Fully-powered-up means you need three miis in a row behind each other, though they don't have to be the same colour. The one in front is the one that fires with whatever weapon goes with that colour.

3.1 last treasure - destroy the 2 bosses at the end at the same time. If you get between them and then move just as they begin to fire, they'll actually hit each other and die.

3.1 the third treasure - you just need a fully-powered-up plasma whip (light green) and it will pass through the cage thing and nab you the treasure

3.3 treasure 4 - destroy the 2 red ferris wheels (last in the main section) at the same time. EDIT - just get the invincibility gem and manouvre between the ships.

4.1 treasure 3 - use a fully powered-up plasma whip to go through the yellow sea floor

3.2 treasure 1 - don't flip the switch then kill everything in that section. You have to do this level more than once to get all the treasures because of the different tracks you go down when you flip the switches

4.3 treasure 3 - destroy the 2 big ships at the end of the downward scrolling section at the same time. EDIT Plasma whips on opposite ends are best for this. Also goos to have spare plasma whip because you're sure to be hit by the enemies flying around.

5.1 treasure 1 - destroy both the bee-like ships at the same time just before they get wiped out by the circular saw behind them EDIT - you don't have to destroy the ships at the same time, just get both before the saw does.

I think there are a couple more where you have to destroy 2 things at the same time on level 5.

Takes a bit of patience.

Useful weapons

plasma whip (light green) - can go through walls and floors so is great for nabbing treasures that might otherwise need switches. Sometimes it's the only way to get a treasure. Also good for nabbing gems as it will reach out by itself so you all you have to dois point it in roughly the right direction. Good for building up your score.

bombs (black) - great for level 3 where you have to destroy the moving stone snakes and other walls

light blue - deflects bullets etc when powered up

Homing sharks (dark blue) - home in on enemies so your aim doesn't have to be exact

cosmic cutter (white) - deflects enemy bullets etc

brown - destroys the sea creatures that attack and stick to your weapon ports. Also, can kill with just touching enemy and not firing.

A few of the treasures are gained by killing all the enemies in a particular section. Sometimes you can see them, other times the treasures are hidden and not shown until the last enemy dies.

Some of the puzzle boxes in Manor/Mansion are also quite tricky. Really need photos for that. Upgading weapons at the orb really helps to improve efficiency.

You don't have to wait for a weapon to fully charge - you can just fire rapidly. If you get a counter strike, you'll destroy more of your enemy's XP than a charged shot in many cases.

Which of the 4 games do you guys enjoy most? I think I enjoy Mii Force just a bit more than Monster Manor and Warriors Way. Flower Town is different but enjoyable nonetheless

I wish these games came with instruction manuals, as I find many things confusing, and even though they give you a bit of a tutorial, you won't necessarily even remember that if you go a while between streetpasses.

BTW, if you want you can cheat on the timed puzzles in Monster Manor by hitting the home menu and going to the game notes section to take your sweet time sketching out the solution, lol.

If anybody is still stuck finding the hats on Find mii 2/ StreetPass quest 2, here's a site that has the maps for the regular and secret quests.
It lists where the hats are and how many times that you need to pass through a room to get a specific hat.
http://dsi.3dsplaza.com/forums/topic.php?topic=18810
Also, here's a good way to clear a load of rooms fairly quikly. Call up two high ranking allies of the same colour, and a bunch of wanderers,. Use the two allies first, if they get scared off or you run out of hits, use a wanderer to call them back with a vail of valor and you get to use them again without having to re hire them.

I'm loving these. My favorite is Mii Force, closely followed by Monster Manor. My least favorite is the gardening one, but it's alright and essentially was free with the other three. Unfortunately I've only had one streetpass since I downloaded them so I haven't gotten much playtime yet. On the plus side, the friend I streetpassed goes to a lot of conventions and had so many Miis in their plaza that he pretty much broke Warriors Way for me by giving me an army of thousands right off the bat. My army made the first country's army look pitiful.

I think warriors way is deffinitly geared towards streetpassing, using 5 play coins a time for pitiful amounts of warriors will take forever to build up a decent army.

I'm having trouble with the Berzerkers and my pitiful army of 2,500.

Mii Force is so much fun!

The Find Mii games were alright, but they're paced so slowly that it gets agrivating when attempting multiple play-throughs; especially if you're obsessed with getting all the hats.

Mii Force is much more enjoyable even without streetpasses, since it only costs 3 coins to rehire old allies, no matter how many times you've gotten them. Plus you get an extra try(s?) if you lose during a level, which is a nice addition.

I hated it in Find Mii when you hired a few of your highest-leveled Miis, only to forget you were stuck in a room that requires 2 of the same colored Miis; wasting all those play coins!

So yeah, I highly recommend Mii Force if you only want one game for now. You'll get the most out of it even if you don't have many streetpasses.

I found I needed 5 times as many troops as Beserkers in the enemy army. You'll need a lot of play coins, but if you expand the castle you'll get loads more troops for your money. Don't use the spy option because it just tells you it's Beserkers, which is no help at all.

I noticed that on the bottom screen, there is an additional box next to Find Mii that has nothing in it... Can anybody tell me what this is for? I tried tapping on it, but to no avail (obviously). Do you have to unlock something? Is it for future DLC? I'm seriously confused right now, and can't find the answer on google...

When you're using streetpassed mii's on the streetpass games, you can streetpass more people. When you've finished with the first bunch of mii's, an arrow will show up in the spare box to indicate that you have more mii's waiting.

Ah, I see! That makes perfect sense! Thanks for clearing that up.

When you upgrade your castle, do you get more troops for less play coins?
Right now, it costs:
5PC for 120 troops
10PC for 300 troops
15PC for 700 troops

Yes, sort of - more troops for the 5, 10 and 15 play coins options. Well, my castle is level 8 right now and I can get

5 play coins - 360 soldiers
10 play coins 900 soldiers
15 play coins 2250 soldiers

I've conquered 13 out of 20 countries and expanded the castle at every opportunity. I don't know if the size of your army makes a difference to how many soldiers you can hire for a certain amount of play coins or if it's fixed in every game. I've got 451,493 soldiers at the moment. Hope that helps.
