Do you think you'll have many Street Pass opportunities where you live?

I live in a village in the middle of the country, and I can't imagine passing too many 3DS gamers walking around here. I'm sure there will be other people with a 3DS, but I doubt if I'll walk past them with their consoles. The nearest town is a good 30 minutes away, and I go there about once a month. I guess my best bet would be going into the Game store there and hope someone else has their 3DS on. It seems like my chance of doing any Street Passing is pretty slim.

What's it like where you live? I'd be curious to see how quickly some of you can get a good idea of how this works.

Im pretty lucky. I live in downtown Nashville,TN, and everyone carries their DS around. And considering the fact that all of the nearby outlets that have 3ds pre-orders are sold out, I know for a fact i'll be meeting some people.

Mine. Very, very low. Heck, I'll probably be one of the around 5 people who actually have one here. Sure, more people will get it eventually, but it's very low at the moment. Still, I do travel a bit to bigger cities, where i'll probably get more connections.

Probably have a few encounters, here in Bordeaux (France) though I'm not too sure, as for what I have seen, it's not a very gamer town.
But maybe I'm wrong, we'll see ^^

I live in a small town in Alberta, Canada. The couple of gamers I know in town aren't really into portable gaming.... but I do go to the college and so I'm hoping streetpass might pick up something around the library. I'd love to find out that there are people at the college who have one but are just busy studying.

Otherwise I do go to a couple of anime conventions every year and they often have gaming areas, so I think I'll get the most use out of it there. At the very least when I meet up with some of my friends (who live out of town) to go to Otafest and I know they'll be packing theirs with them.

At home, heck no. But I'll be in college by the time I get one so I might have a little bit of a better chance there.

I don't expect many opportunities, but I'm gonna keep my 3DS in my purse sometimes just in case. I'm bound to come across at least a couple of kids who've got a 3DS and like to carry it around.

It's very overpopulated where I live, being a college area. (Traffic is terrible! D:)

That being said, I've seen several people playing their DSi's on the bus on the way to school, so I have high hopes of the Street Pass being popular here.

I imagine I'll gather at least a couple StreetPasses. Wlking around the mall, in restaurants, grocery store, etc. I'm bound to pass at least a couple 3DS's along the way. It will probably be a slow thing to start but as the 3DS builds it's customer base, it should become more common. Imagine if the DS had this feature from the start, by now you would be hard pressed to walk around a public place and NOT get a StreetPass. ONE WEEK TO GO!!!!!!!

I'd probably run into 5 to 50 people, especially if I'm in Tulsa or at the mall.

I'm a mailman, and I plan on carrying my 3DS around in my mail satchel, so there may be a good chance that I get some hits everyday. Each one of my routes has over 600 deliveries, so that should give me a shot at running into someone else that owns one. Also my wife and 3 kids will each have one.

Wow, a 3DS family! The systems alone will rack up $1250, not including taxes!

I live in Tulsa, fellow Okie! We may get each other on Street Pass and not even know it! I'm sure I'll get a lot of hits taking it to Woodland Hills mall nearby where I live (where GameStop is that I'm buying the 3DS from).

Let's attack aggressively, kupo! :D

Yeah we might, however if the 3DS lets you see the usernames/gamertags you interact with. You might no have much trouble identifying me....I usually endup going to Arrowhead Mall because its closer (which is where I'm getting mine, on launch no doubt there would be a crowd hanging out and playing 3DS at the food court). [Off Topic: Have you been to Tokyo 'n Tulsa, its an Anime Convention.]
