now that you say it... this game was probably a one hit wonder. Squaresoft made some excellent sequels, like in the Mana serie. of course, some were total crap too, especially most if not all gameboy/DS titles. but seeing legend of mana on ps1 feels like the opposite. It can also be like Xenogears on ps1. 1 hit masterpiece.
The people behind this game is n-Space (the developers that brought the stellar CoD titles and Goldeneye 2010 to DS). I'm sure we're getting a quality title.
this is going to kick . n-space knows nintendo hardware and development too well! multiplayer too! if they were good on DS, they will shine on 3DS. i guess that is the reason why we do not see any 3DS versions of COD MW3 etc. Perhaps they stopped working with activision.
I'm surprised they are working with Square-Enix. Never expected something like this. Then again, it's been going around that SE wants to really get a bigger hold on the western market. SE isn't the same as they used to be in the earlier days (as they were Square Soft but even then, both Square and Enix were faring well by themselves).
I hope this is where n-space can finally make something truly great, as I've always thought they could do so much better games than they were actually making (as Geist showed when it wasn't being mediocre).
