A common complaint is that it's too easy to button mash in Tekken. There isn't really a balanced way to break combos. I don't think it's that big of a problem though since I've never had trouble against a noob who just button mashes. The only time I lose is when somebody picks Eddy Gordo just to be a jerk, lol. It's still my favorite fighting game though and some small town places use it for tournaments.

Why only Street Fighter and VF? Do they not think DoA, Soul Caliber, and Tekken are worth being in tournaments? I guess I can see the lack of enthusiasm for DoA cause the game is all about the girls' assets...

DOA is pretty easy to figure out, even if you're not a hardcore fighting oficianaco. Most deem it as a second-rate fighter for its lack of depth when compared to Street Fighter and VF (I love it to pieces though. Put in a crapload of time into dimensions). I never really liked Soulcaliber that much, I can't say there. As for Tekken, many do actually play it competitively, just not as nearly as much as SF and VF.

Awesome trailer, but I still don't know the name of the track from the gameplay footage I'd really like to know

You can look up videos on it. It's more of a theory, but I think's it's totally true because of what I explained. Hoping SSB4 has something similar if not better.

Well Street Fighter is the most popular fighting series ever, considering it helped create the fighting genre. But isn't Tekken more well-known than Virtua Fighter?

And Dead or Alive has always placed emphasis on the girls'... assets. Hardly anyone takes DoA seriously as a fighter, it's all about the eye-candy.

IF you think Tekken and Mortal Kombat or Street fighter and Blazbue are similar in style don't know what to say.

That's the point of the Game how would these capcom fighters work in the Tekken style and Vice Versa.

Play Capcom vs Snk and then SNK vs capcom to see what I mean.

what do you make of the art style in streetfighter x tekken? i.e. looks, graphics. do you like it? me personally, they're not bad.

But my point still stands that Tekken, DoA, and Virtua Fighter all play fairly similarly.

because they are 3D fighting games, as opposed to 2D ones, which are the king of fighters, streetfighter series.
