Anybody here got it?
It wasn't exactly mind blowing but what did you think of it? I just picked it up and it's pretty good considering it's the handheld version. Am I missing anything without the console version? I don't own PS3 or Xbox so 3DS was my only option.

You are missing some awsome music tracks, the Unleashed style stages which are great, the awsome cut-scenes, and the soon to released DLC. The 3DS version has online multiplayer though. I am going to get it soon on 3DS.

Favorite Games: Sonic CD, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and Call of Duty: Black Ops, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, and Mega Man 5.

The lack of cutscenes didn't really bother me since I prefer the retro style of just playing without a big story.
Sonic doesn't need a story. I never did play unleashed but I sometimes wonder If I should.
Isn't most of Generations music made up of remixes of past games?
What stages were not included in the 3DS version?

I played both the Wii and 360 version of Unleashed. The Wii version shouldn't even be considered counting one of the few things good about the 360 game was the graphics, and there is only one original level per world in the Wii game and all the other acts are just things like collecting rings in the same stage. Not to mention, the Werehog stages, which are poor, are about 4-5 times longer than the day time stages. The over worlds are also annoying in both versions. However, I enjoyed the day time stages (In the 360 version) more than I enjoyed Generations, and the music is quite good. The only problem is that the game is like digging through a dumpster for gold. Occasionally you'll find the gold, but until then your digging through garbage and even when you find the gold, it still smells like garbage.

As for the 3DS version of Generations (I already own the 360 version), I just picked it up because its priced just dropped, but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

Personally, I like games with the more complicated story, and even the Sonic 06 story a bit. But I LOVE the origanals too and there stories were just as epic. To answer the rest of your questions, most of the bonus music tracks from Generations on the consoles are the same but each act in the game has remixed tracks which rock. Some of the stages not in the 3DS version are Chemical Plant, City Escape, and Rooftop Run.

P.S. you should get Unleashed on Wii because it is the best version of the game and also go on YouTube and listen to the City Escape Act 1 music. Your in for a treat!

I think I like the stages on 3DS better. Aside from Chemical plant of course.
I would've rather had that one instead of Casino night.
Are there any unlockables to speak of on the 3DS version of Generations?

Maybe...if they implemented SpotPass.

As for 06, the story was awesome and epic right up to the point Elise barged in and SPOILERS KISSES (you read that right) SONIC!!!! A human kissing an anthropomorphic hedgehog?! SERIOUSLY?!

The story? Awesome? What? It was completely rediculous, and in my opinion poorly told. And that's even before that part.
