Topic: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

This might be a little early, but I really want this to be a great racer and not a Mario Kart 7 clone.
Please say your thoughts below, like what you want improved from the original, what characters you want in Transformed, etc.

The original was fantastic, so I'm looking forward to this sequel. I'm probably going to buy both the 3DS and Vita versions.

Could they be putting non-Sega characters in this??????

They already put Non-Sega characters in the last game, so yeah, probably. Will probably be just one or two, though.

But they were just Miis for Wii and Banjo and Kazooie for Xbox 360. I wonder if they'll be more adventurous with the third party characters this. It dosen't seem likely, but remember the shock everyone got when SOLID FLIPPING SNAKE was announced for SSBB?

Depends on what you're talking about. If you mean "Maybe Mario and Sackboy will show up for some karting?" Then I don't see why not. If you mean "Maybe they'll take a famous character from a completely unrelated and likely more mature franchise" Then I think that's unlikely. We already know Snake was in there because Hideo Kojima was a big fan of Super Smash Bros., and even tried to get Snake in Melee before. I doubt something like that will happen again, especially for Sonic.

What about Kart customization? You know different transformation parts. Or even different selections of Karts? I hated the ATV Knuckles drove in the DS version >=(

Also I'm still calling the series Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, I don't care what the box says!

I know there are things that needs to be fixed from the DS version, like clearer graphics, [I got confused at the start of Green Hill Zone, but the 3DS will fix that] online multiplayer [NON FRIEND CODE!] so I'm not sure if this will be as good as MK7 BUT I'll get this game ASPA!

What other Characters should be added? I'm thinking Metal Sonic, or Silver, Nights, or some retro Sega characters like from Golden Axe, or Streets of Rage!

Yes, this is soooo not a port of Mario Kart 7, as for Diddy Kong Racing, I'm not sure, only played Walmart Demo
Anyone else Day 1 purchase, or waiting for a price drop?

I am just waiting to see what the game will be like, as I want to make sure it provides it's own twist on the kart racing. Or at least if they add some Sonic R-esque magic to it! (And no, I don't mean that annoying music)

I just want an improved version over the DS one, that I can take anywhere. This game better have great graphics!

Is anyone else excited to see the original Shinobi ninja, and the green axe wielding Golden Axe characters as racers?

I wished when this game was revealed that Shinobi would be in this game,and look there he is.

I'm expecting alot from this game. The one on the DS was fantastic, so much fun and it was so fast. After playing it for a while and then going back to Mario Kart (MK felt a whole lot slower)!!! But Mario Kart will always be superior , but this game is worth a shot.

i cant wait i had this on ps3 and ds i honetsly like the ds version better it felt better to control but i like the ps3 version alot to but im a get this for 3ds i hope it exclusive character be some one new like ps3 ratchet or jak and 3ds could be link or pikachu wii or wii u which ever could have mii and mario and xbox 360 could have master cheif
