Looks like there's going to be a Sonic game for the 3DS.

I wonder if they're trying for a 3D platformer; and, if so, I hope it doesn't suck.

I hope its not on rails like secret rings, not that I disliked the game, just prefer something Adventure like, 2D Sonic is better obviously, but this is 3DS afterall.

I anticipate a Sonic the Hedgehog 2D/3D adventure like the good bits of Sonic Unleashed. That would blow my tiny mind. I'd also like to see another Sonic Chronicles game but in proper 3D this time, with proper facial animations and everything. We'll probably get a Sonic racer first though!

I already saw this on the list of upcoming 3DS games. Sonic 3DS could either be good or a pile of fail, we shall see.

In all honesty, I just wish Sega would put Sonic to rest for a moment. I mean, they could start focusing on their past franchises like Senmue, Jet set radio, Ristar, Vectorman, Monkeyball, or Crazy taxi. Its just that I don't want to see Sonic go downhill to become a mediocre pile of junk.
