Why is the Spirit medallion before the Shadow medallion? I mean, I guess you could do the Spirit temple first if you get the Lens of truth and go to the desert, but are you supposed to?

Navi directs otherwise.

Navi says lots of things. Like how she kept pestering me to check out Death Mountain (Fire Temple) while i was doing the Water Temple first.
Navi also constantly says to listen to Gaga ... oh wait, wrong Navi

Huh, never thought of doing the Water temple before the Fire Temple. I learned long ago not to listen to that fairy though, always stating the obvious.

by the way, I just got to Ganon's tower and the Sage bridge looks amazing, it is no longer just a suspended rainbow.

Yeah, i don't even know why i decided to do it that way this time around. I think it was just that i happened to be near Lake Hylia and thought, "Well, might as well get it over with" before discovering that the Water Temple was not anywhere near as annoying as i remembered (my last OoT playthrough was probably 5 or 6 years ago, running through the GC version).

I go straight to Jabu-Jabu and then the Forrest Temple before going to the Great Fairy ontop of Death Mountain.... and Navi just keeps telling you to visit the fairy ontop of Death Mountain.

She keeps pestering me to take a rest, even when I've only just started playing. Did she do that on the original N64 version?

@KitBliss
I don't think so. That one seems to be time based as near as i can tell; like if you've been playing for a certian period of time non-stop. But the one i dislike the most is when i'm running around aimlessly just for fun and Navi says "Hey, looks like you could use some help, maybe we should find one of those stones" or whatever.

Yes. And Navi was simply Born this Way.

Oooh nice work there.

I just love playing Saria's song, so I can cut myself down asking for help.
"-Do you want to talk to Saria?
-No.
-Do you want to talk to me?
-No."

good times

The nagging to stop playing is new because it's their idea of trying to remind you to give your eyes a rest with the 3D going on. They did the same stuff with nagging every 15min or so on virtual boy games.

Yep. Every Hour or so Navi will tell you to stop playing.
