They haven't given many details yet, but they did say that the codes wouldn't be given out until later today. I'm sure if you're patient they'll give more info later.
They didn't explain anything, all they said was you will receive a email for the Smash demo. They didn't really explain anything....

So the CN Plat codes are being distributed later today? If possible, can someone grab me one if they can get four of those codes like the NL article said? I can't contain the hype, and I don't want to wait a week just to play the demo.

That's dumb I'm pretty sure Japan didn't have to do that. They just went to the Store & downloaded Smash bros.

But to be fair Japan got the demo two days before release. We'll be getting it two weeks before release.
While I agree that we're getting the demo sooner, it feels unfair to be left out just because some of us haven't bought a bunch of games. But anyway, can't complain, the demo will be available on the 19th. Of course, if anyone wants to spare a code, I'm not stopping them ;p

Thank you for clarifying for us, I did get my 3DS last year of 2013...So yeah that might be a chance ....
