I know the game doesn't launch in the UK till mid night, but have any of you guys supposed to get a download code, my question is when is Nintendo meant to be sending them to us?

I've no idea mate, I'll be getting a download code too. When..? Anytime after midnight. I imagine they'll have a fair few to send out, so it'll probably vary. You might get it early in the morning, or you might get it tomorrow afternoon. I'd be surprised if we didn't get the codes tomorrow.
Yeah I saw in the email "shortly after" so I hope they mean a couple of hours and not days

Check your Club Nintendo account for the code. I think they put the code on there after midnight. I had Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins as my free game and never had the code in my email. I looked on my Club Nintendo Account and the code was there at the top.
Thanks shadow. I just hope that the code appears anytime when I wake up in the morning and an hour before I finish my course for the day so that I can go home and play it right away.
I got the free game for registering an XL back in December. They said they'd send the codes for the game out on January 1st and it came within minutes of midnight.

Great stuff, just found my AC code there, having waited all day for the email! Nintendo's IT systems could be doing with being updated I think. I had to wait ages for the first email confirming I had registered three games (the last of which arrived this morning) just in time for Animal Crossing to go live.
