Not seen any discussion of this anywhere else on the site but I must say that I have been very impressed with the video quality of the two short trailers, from Sky3D, that have recently appeared on Nintendo Video.

Due to the apparent size restriction on the length of videos I think it's unlikely that we will get anything more substantial from Sky, but as an example of what the 3DS can do it is very impressive.

If Nintendo were a little more savvy I could easily see a situation in a few years time where the Digital Copies provided with many Blu-Ray discs actually contained a 3DS video file rather than an iTunes copy.

Nintendo should include the ability to put your own videos into your Nintendo 3DS (via the SD Card) in a future update.

At the Eurogamer expo Sky were advertising the 3D service at the 3DS booth. I asked the girls there a couple of questions, although they didn't know too much. They seemed to think that you would need an existing subscription to Sky 3D TV. I assumed then that you'd be streaming it rather than storing the media. As I'm not getting a 3D TV any time soon, I would prefer it if they offered some pay per view services. They also said it was pretty much with Sky when they chose to launch the service.
