It'll include Space Harrier, Fantasy Zone, Outrun, Streets of Rage, Shinobi III, and Ecco the Dolphin. It's only confirmed for Japan right now but if it does get localized, a localized version would probably also include Sonic the Hedgehog.
EDIT: It also includes the Master System versions of Space Harrier and Outrun as bonus games.
This is EXACTLY what I had been hoping for ever since the first announcement of those SEGA 3D Classics. Awesome. If they really don't make the jump over the great pond I'll at least be able to import it. This just made my day. ^^
damn i want fantasy zone so bad!! i hope they give it to us in some form or i will be very sad.

That will likely be in a 2nd volume, assuming this is a success. Japan has 7 more 3D Classics releases from Sega after these 6, including that one, Afterburner II, and Thunder Blade.
Maybe this is why a lot of the games never turned up outside Japan. They were gonna be collected anyway?
I've been playing Outrun 3D since it came out and it's awesome. I think the improved 3D range on the new 3DS would really be great for these too.
I really hope there's a third wave of classics. Bring on Turbo Outrun, Sega. And if the New 3DS takes off, perhaps even Outrunners will be within reach thanks to its extra horsepower (I rather suspect that one, the pinnacle of Sega 3D sprite scaling, is out of reach on the standard system when a game like Galaxy Force II apparently was such a challenge).
I'm happy that there's no Genesis titles, period. Those were lackluster and by far the low points of the first wave of releases.
Now that M2 is in the swing of things, i'm glad that filler is gone with the focus squarely on arcade classics (Even though it meant only getting five games, instead of last year's 8).
