Topic: Shovel Knight Play coin transfer

Hi all,
I have read that you can exchange play coins for gold on shovel knight 3ds. I may be being slow but I can't find how/where to do it.
Any ideas please?

there's a character standing near the entrance of armor outpost twhere you can trade 1 play choin for 100 gold
