SO what you are saying is that Nintendo should just stop making games and let people steal from them. Yeah thats smart cause I am sure that they rather not earn anything for the time and that spent making these games.

Should Nintendo quit the 3DS?

You mean to say, Should Nintendo quit? It's practically the same.

Don't make Mario angry you won't like him when he's angry.

If at all Nintendo makes a handheld that will compete with the Smartphones, Here's what they should do.

Introducing the Nintendo Microphone. It is a very small handheld that is capable of playing 3ds games but you can only play games through eshop and retail games won't fit in. You can call and communicate with another Microphone user wireless regardless of the location. And finally the price is a total of 50$. For those who pre-ordered the handheld will get five games free of charge. Limited purchase only.

That alone will make Nintendo dominate the Mobile Market.

...so you're suggesting charging $50 for a device with 5 free games? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

^no they should make the Nintendo "Phone Boy" collection every model featuring the design of a Game Boy model and with a game catridge port with touchscreen for the phone mode(this way not adding number buttons) imagine "Phone Boy Pocket", "Phone Boy Color" even "Phone Boy Advance Micro"!
I'd buy it in the middle of a heartbeat!

Nintendo should make a device like Google Glasses that straps to a persons head cause that would be a real trend setter..... oh wait they did that already.

I dont know why but for some reason the NGage comes to my mind when I read this idea.

I wish the world had more innovative thinkers like this guy.

@Tasuki

The GBA was better because the NGage had terrible games that had slowdown.

But still Nintendo making games for a smartphone don't work. Imagine playing Super Mario Bros on the smartphone, when you move to the left, your d pad gets in the way and you need to touch it to move mario but then your fingers get in the way. Having a controller on a small screen is another stupid thing.

However Nintendo might have something going on with ouya seeing that it has a controller and its not all that powerful to begin with....... Oh forget it.

Why doesn't the moderator stop this thread? It's to put it nicely uninformed. 3DS is currently the most successful console on the market.

The success in even more surprising considering we're in a new age of gaming were Nintendo as even more competition in the form of Sony, MS, PC, Smartphone and Tablets.

Agreed the mods should close this thread. 3DS is doing great right now and will probably keep doing so for at least another 2 years.

I bet this thread is still around because it's both harmless and so far free of "let's derail this filling with lots funny images in a row"

Nintendo should continue to focus on 3DS software and continue to pull 3rd party and first party support for it. The 3DS is the number 1 selling video game machine on the market right now and Nintendo needs to continue to capitolize on that and drive those numbers.
