yeah, they were trigger happy and easy to make angry. but they were also easy to lose the tail or simply kill by making them crash. but yes, YES, this prevented me to have the sandbox feeling. and moreover, prevented me from chilling out in the city , trying to climb random areas, taking an helicopter to fly around, go on rooftops, hide behind walls while bombing everything like crazy. piling cars to make explosions. you know, gta stuff huh ? chinatown didnt give me this, but it gave me a fun story, great missions and never got bored with it. too bad that once its done, you cant really have fun in the city. even collectible items like cameras seem pointless. just walking around seem pointless. it almost like a Driver game rather than a GTA game. i ended up using almost only cars to kill. cars provided you armor and fast movement. anyway. i want a sandbox game in a 3D environment, wether its a gta or not.
keep all minigames from chinatown war, no top view, go inside of any building, fly helicopter, voice aI, call poeple, change able clothes, rob stores, buy able sniper.

The problem I had with top view is that you wouldn't see what was coming and you'd sometimes end up crashing into a polic car :/
And I dunno about everyone else, but they were pretty much everywhere in my game which was annoying.
I'd hope they go for 3rd person perspective instead.
They were so easy to get off your tail though. Drive around enough and the cops will ram into something, getting them off your tail. This has probably been the easiest GTA to elude cops in.
I'm pretty sure a 3DS would have a really hard time running a 3D enviroment. Namely when you start blowing stuff up and you get all of these fancy little particles.
Chinatown wars was good, whereas Liberty city stories and vice city for the PSP was too small for my tastes. You could see the whole map in like, a minute. CTW had this huge beast of a city, exploring things was fun, and making cop cars run into walls was incredibly satisfying.
I would also imagine the 3D viewing mode would compliment the top down view, giving it more depth. I don't remember any lag on CTW, so I imagine the frames per second would be pretty smooth and consistent
But I'd want some sort of multiplayer component. Be it just free explore, or some sort of competitive objective-based game, online muliplayer should be in it. Otherwise I'd just play CTW.

I would rather have a Chinatown Wars like GTA than a Liberty City Stories or Vice City Stories for 3DS. I actually preferred CW because it had much more to do and the city was just as big as GTA IV, if they do another one I hope they make the city as big as Los Santos in GTA V. The view from the top takes absolutely nothing from the quality of the game.
iam wishing 3rd person, i never like that overhead

Guys, Guys , Guys , Here me out here, I have an idea.Maybe you could switch between Overhead and 3rd person using the depth slider? Like on Full 3D it turns 3rd person, and with 3D off, it beacomes overhead!
I told you I had an idea, I never said it was a good one.....
well i agree on the switch from overhead to 3rd person but not with the silder

Personally I'd love a CW sequel. With the 3DS superior graphics and the 3D, a topdown version could be amazing.CW was one of my top 5 games on DS. Loved driving those little cars and getting police slammed into walls.A LOT of fun. Please do it Rockstar.I don't want a console sand-box game ,that's what the home trio are for,I want fresh unique experiences I can't get anywhere else.
Port the PSP GTA games over and call it a day (Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories). Those were fully featured handheld GTA's with all the features of the PS2 games.
And if those sell well, then make San Andreas Stories for the 3DS and Vita.
I would love to see a GTA game exclusively crafted for 3DS! I think the 3DS is more than powerful enough and fully capable of running a good looking GTA game....and in 3D! I'd love Chinatown Wars 2 or something. Perhaps they will just port V to 3DS to test the market. That would be very acceptable!
