Is there any sending messages function on the 3DS? When you go to your friends list, it says on the top "You can also exchange short messages."
Anyone know if this will be applied in a later update? My friend is wondering.

i believe the 'exchange short messages' thing is the message you can input on your end. you can read all of their messages by tapping their Friend Cards (it'll pop up over their Mii image).

Bahh! It would make more sense if they put "status" or something... Well that explains a lot though!
