So I used to play Wild World, but since I live in Australia and I didn't know many other people with Nintendo DSs, I never played multiplayer.
Recently I read up on the Animal Crossing Wiki that there was a griefing activity called "Seeding" where players would go into other player's towns and drop hacked "Building" and "Tree" objects onto the world (was a part of the original construction of the game's world) to cause issues.
Although I do own City Life and Animal Crossing E, I never played them all that much so I don't know if it exists in these either.
My question is to anyone who's played Animal Crossing: New Leaf (the reviewers and such, if they see this) will seeding be available in New Leaf?

Nope. If people want to visit your town and cause destruction, they will have to pony up some bells and enter the Dream Suite. There they can do whatever they want but it will not hurt your town at all. Looks like Nintendo learn from Wild World's mistake.
Oh, so people can't enter the actual version of your town anymore to help you dig up weeds etc? I thought the Dream Suite was just an alternate version of multiplay, not actually replacing it entirely.

It's not like you can't turn the game off before saving any visitor-generated destruction

Well that's expected (streetpass towns? Awesome) since you can't really change a person's town if you have no way to write data to it (out of range)
So I'm assuming regular multiplayer sessions will still include the ability to change other people's towns. (for better or for worse) I thought there was an action replay out for 3DS though...
Resseti is actually a public works project in which you, as mayor, build things! Like the police station, etc. YOU decide what is in your town and what isn't.
