I think 32 GB is fine unless some developers decide to go crazy and make games that take up tons of space esp. since retail games are going digital and with 2 Gigs of memory per retail game I hope some developers don't decide to max out that 2 Gig limit to create some huge game.

I was going to post saying "why?" but then I realised some people store ALL THEIR MUSICS on their 3DS. Seems a bit silly to me but I guess if you don't have an MP3 player and want to use Nintendo's pretty average answer to one.... each to their own.
I just got an 8GB card because 2GB didn't seem enough if they're going to start putting retail games on the eShop. Then I realised I had used 1.3GB with what I thought was bare minimum usage of storage. It adds up especially when you start to buy 3DSWare. With that said I'm not going to worry about SDXC for a long while I don't think. A 64GB card seems like a huge waste of money to me. I'd rather put that $100AU+ towards a $250AU 160GB iPod classic or something if I really wanted to carry around that much music. Even putting it towards a 64GB $400AU iPod Touch seems like a better use of that money.

Actually, most of the games use less than a gigabyte according to this chart that's been going around the internet for awhile now:
I've still got plenty of space left in my 16GB card (especially since I deleted all music on it) so that'll keep me going for a while and then I can upgrade to 32GB.
It'd only get problematic if I decided to download a lot of retail games, which I don't plan to.
There's always the option of getting multiple cards or deleting things you're finished with, but that sucks as I like having a menu full of stuff.
I started out with 129000 blocks roughly with my 16GB SDHC and I think thats enough at this point, but will upgrade to a 32 SDHC when I run out of space

I know that I was just saying that what if some developers go crazy and decide to make a huge game. I heard Namco had to split One Piece into 2 games because they apparently couldn't fit all that information into one cartridge.
