Topic: Samurai Warriors Chronicals

Lets talk about this great title here.

I had recently gotten it for a cheap $18.00 and i thought it was going to be garbage. I put it in my 3ds and saw how immersive the experience was. it was like a console game jammed in a little package!
so... what kind of fighter are you? horse back rider? on foot mayhem?

Well when I fight in swc I fight all my apponents on the battlefield. One great warrior to another. And then I snap their spines (yes that was a m.bison reference)

I only completed the first two missions, so I haven't had a chance to try everyone out, but I like the game so far. It's a good time waster, not exactly brainless, but still something I can zone out to. I tried the horse back riding in Dynasty Warriors 7, it was...interesting, at least.

I got it during the 3DS launch alongside SSFIV (yes, this is a launch game) and I really enjoyed it. I love that there are over 40 playable characters, that each have their own weapons. I also like being able to switch between 4 characters at any given battle at any given time (that kills any repetitiveness the game might have had). Although the characters are all "anime enhanced", I like that the game is practically a retelling of Japanese history. Every battle was a real incedent, and every character is based off a real military/political figure from the time (Nobunaga Oda should sound familiar to anyone even slightly interested in Japanese history).

I'd also suggest anyone interested in Pokémon Conquest to pick this up, as these are the characters you'll be dealing with in the crossover.
