everyone knows there's no export in rytmik. so I use the idea of the male to male plug in with audacity in a laptop.

but...
after doing what the instructions told there is no sound...
what do you think I should do? i only have a port with a symbol of the headset.
my laptop kind of have a built in microphone... can you all help me? please?
I am doing music with rytmik retrobits with a 3DS connected to the headset plug of the laptop with a male to male cord so I can record the song I made on 3DS to a laptop. but somethings wrong here... no sound came from 3DS to laptop... help me out?
What kind of laptop do you have, and do you know for sure whether that port you used works as an input, or is it just a headphone port? Have you used it to record any audio before?
@NFreak007: the HP intel inside, this port looks like is for headphone with microphone set, i tried it but no sound appeard in audacity as i play the music & record at once. why?
All I can recommend is checking the input settings in Audacity - it's a drop-down menu next to a microphone icon near the top of the window. If there are any other inputs available, try them and see if they work. If it only lists the laptop's built-in mic then I'm afraid you're out of luck.
@NFreak007: what if its better if we can try another device for rytmik can record in...
instead of laptop or library computer... we can try a new device with no microphone built in... only it records the audio with a male to male cord plugged in to... with a SD card
and i also need a SDcard adapter
I always use that same method whenever I need to record audio from my DSi/3DS, but it sounds like your laptop just doesn't have an in-port, only an out-port. (Basically, where you are plugging it in now only outputs audio signals, it doesn't receive them.) I would think all laptops would have a port for a microphone though. You sure there aren't any more ports you can put it in?
