Topic: Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D

Played a game last night online in a global match. It was awesome. Seriously, it went for about 10min or so. At least it seemed it did. We kept finding those time extensions and did melee attacks which extends the time limit. But let me tell you, it was so fun and what an adrenaline rush!!!

I had to host the match though. Every time i try to join, i get an error message: 006-0112 or something like that. I've seen some friends on my list saying the same thing. I think its the router but i just don't know how to get into it to change the settings. So if you're having trouble joining, try being the host, usually you can find matches pretty quick, especially in global matches.

Still pretty new to it myself, im sure we will pick up more tips n tricks as we go on. Found out you can heal each other at the same time by playing with some more experienced players. Stand next to your ally and use the heal button. This was my first Friend match and I think it went pretty well, I enjoyed it better than random matches because I knew it was you.
I would have played longer but had to put tea out for the kids, they just got back in from school.
Ahhh well, I will keep an eye out for you online in future and mabey next time I will host a match

I think the trouble is as soon as a game gets hosted somebody else jumps in a selects it before you do, when the game has been out a while im sure this will happen less. But hey, if your hosting games im sure you will have plenty of people willing toplay.

Yeah, i'll keep trying with friends, i want to play knowing it's one on my list.

Been playing some random online matches on level 4-5.... geez those levels last FOREVER!!!!
You end up running out of ammo and get butched by some mad chainsaw wielding dudes before time runs out.
Thing is everytime you wipe out a horde you add an extra 60 seconds so by the time your getting up the 15/16 round and gained a load of extra time for melee kills you could have racked up at least 20 mins of solid Resident Evil action.
For those who think the levels are short and lacking any real challenge obvoiusly havnt been playing it right... problem is you rack up tons of kills and if one of you dies you dont get anything for all your hard work

tech, i've got to get online while you're playing to try the co op out. i tried playing with randoms and failed to join five people in a row so i haven't played online yet. 4-5 would be an insane level for two people to do! do you have a regular time you play this at?

4-5 is an insane level to do in co-op. I didnt notice until I was playing solo that not only can you add 5,30 & 60 seconds... but also 5 minutes onto your time so the game practicly goes on forever if you kill em quick enough and in co-op that is entirely possible. I dont even know if the level will actually stop at some point or the waves jus keep mouting up till your just left with dozens of exploding, chainsaw wielding freeks.

I definitely want to play some with you. I'm on vacation ATM but am on various times through out the day. If you want we can set something up and it will definitely be easier to get connected! Ill let you know what times are best for me.

it ends at wave 15. rebecca is maybe the best to use for it, since she doesn't run out of ammo easily and the grenade launcher works against the bosses well.

Aaaaah that makes sense, we got to our 15th wave and I was pretty much down to a knife and proximity mines and just assumed time had run out because I was too busy running around trying to last the time out without being killed but my partner must have cleared the mission. Either way we survived it and it seemed to take ages... but in a good way.
Have yet to play the level 5 missions online but had a little play offline. Having some great fun with this game, most fun ive had online with a Nintendo console since MarioKart wii.

Come on zavvi, it has been five days. I'm eager to play this game.

I just finished 5-5 and now unlocked the EX stages. Solid game in my opinion, but its disappointing that I feel like Capcom rushed this game, it had a lot of potential. I want to know though, will there be any Ex stages similar to stage 4-5? It was a blast to play, but I want more challenge.

EX-9 is just what you're asking for (i won't spoil what it is... say your prayers)

the custom skills are awesome, the techniques are pretty useless in comparison. they give you more power, faster fire rates and extended clips all at the same time. wesker's hydra and the red 9 really benefit from the extra bullets you can get

Just got the game Only bad thing (so far) is that zombies in the distant do become very 'shaggy' in appearance. Still good game though.

Nine days and still waiting. If I haven't received it tomorrow, I'm going to contact them. I can't wait to play it.

...jus wat til you get to the EX levels

one of the best games I've played in a long time: 38:28 play time since June 29th until July 12th - almost unlocked everything - I had Ocarina of Time put on hold for this which I've continued but then Netflix... so much with so little time

how bad is 5-5 o.o I'm to lazy to finish up on 5-2 and 5-4, I'm usually on 4-2 or 4-5

Its worth putting the effort in to unlock the EX levels, but if you are struggling to clear some of the levels you should try an get some help from online with an experienced player.
Level 5-5 has plenty of bad guys but after clearing so many of them the big Popokarimu from the earlier level turns up and you have to destroy him whilst avoiding / killing the other monsters and mini-bosses.
