I'm still sketchy about picking this one up, a glorified mercanrise mode doesn't exactly excite me. I found Mercanaries Mode in RE4 to be horrible, and quite the time wasting depressing experience. However in RE5 I felt it was fantastic...Even V.S was a total blast in the beginning. I was slaying everybody in the court yard Excecution area with Chris, you could tell so many people were akward to that mode in the beginning and they came off like complete noobies. LOL
Overtime, there was some insane stiff compitetion however. IF Mercanaries 3D had Vs Mode it would definitly be a day one purchase!
Yeah i wish it had versus mode too especially now with the walking and shooting, you wouldnt have to stand there against your opponent exchanging headshots. XD
Come on everyone lets rejoice at the fact that we are getting 2 RE titles. Remember we only had RE1 on DS. This is a day 1 pick up for me . I stil would love to see a few Racoon City maps and some of the mansion too.

lol. I can't argue with that, but usually people would take a shot, do a slight quick run and change positions and start firing again. It was always about sneaking up on people and shooting, or hiding behind objects and busting out the fire.lol
Strangely enough, RE5's Vs Mode was the most fun I've ever had in any Online Shooter game. I'm not into shooters to begin with, but i love me some Resident Evil and it was strangely unique and different playing Vs Mode than any other run and gun shooter. You had to be more precise and careful with your aiming, and the restricted 'no running and gunning' controls made you feel more vulnerable which i loved, as always in any RE game.
I'm sure the 'walking while shooting' mechanic will be solid, pretty interested to see how it turns out....But what I'm not crazy over is the first person perspective for aiming, thankfully that's just an option.
Nice that we have the option! Ill try out both. First person perspective should be nice in 3D mode as the majini, executioner etc reach for you.. xD
Creditable 82% from N-Gamer (bear in mind, their "gold award" terroritory is 85% - so its touching distance away)....sounds intense and addictive. Part of me still would've loved it on the Wii though.

I'm really eager to play as Claire and Barry. But I have to be honest, what's getting me the most excited about RE: Mercanaries 3D is the Resident Evil: Revelations Demo.
So are you getting it or not? I would like to play some with you and romulux.

I would imagine they would add VS mode to a sequel, they already said that Merceneries doesnt push the 3DS and they are still improving Revelations. I wouldnt be surprised if Meceneries 2 would be more along the lines of Operation Racoon City and set between RE2 & RE3 and bringing in Leon and Carlos and the other Mercs from Operation Mad Jackal for solo/co-op games and mabey more generic Police / Stars / Umberalla type characters for VS mode. But I wouldnt imagine hearing about a Sequel until Revelations is ready to be coming out by which time they would probably be getting the most out of the system.

Yeah gonna wait for a price drop on this one before I buy.Looks good just not worth £30 good. ONM gave it 82% though and the lack of content isn't really a problem as long as your a high score junkie.Which means I'll probably enjoy it quite a bit.
I've been playing all day and I love it so far. The RE: REV demo sucks. GameStop only had one copy on hand, not because is such a hot game they just shipped them one copy to the and live in a big city. HUNK is a Bad Mother!!!
