Topic: RedeemPass - Streetpass comeback

Due to another post I thought I'd post up with the idea. I want to revive streetpass, if everyone on this forum just started taking out their 3ds with streetpass plaza activated, it'd come back!.
Post up if you're going to commit and take yours out.
It may fall flat and this may only get one rude post then die, or we may get some success!

I'm taking mine in sleep mode, just kept at the bottom of my bag, I don't need to do anything else.

I always take my 3ds everywhere I go! Haven’t got any street passes yet but hope to get some one day. Hopefully this post will get tons of people back on street pass and bring it back!

Ah let's see who's up for it! All you need is your 3ds, in sleep mode at the bottom of your bag, I love the idea and it's just not been replaced! I'll set it and post up

I do that all the time! I get on average 1 streetpass a day. Except if I go to something like comicon or fan X and I get like 50 a day. So I think some people still do it.

@mrjelly I STILL havent gotten ANY! but my friend said next time I see him he will bring his 3ds so we can streetpass. I will still bring my 3ds everywhere I go just in case I might get a streetpass and so we can bring it back.

My patch is London, trains/central London, so any peeps around there can get repeat passes. I think that's the way to go as well, levelling up someone, a level 4 Mii can do so much more than 4 miis, you can then also message the person for a specific colour.

@mrjelly what is a repeat pass?

If you meet the same person twice they level up, all the way up to level 7, you can also give them a personal message for the next time after three meetings

@mrjelly MCM expo at the eXcel centre is a great place to try for for street passes.
Sadly I missed this thread as it's been on over this weekend. Sunday is the last day if you read this and can get there. They have a great out door area that you can chill and meet other 3DS gamers.
It is back on the last weekend of October, and they hold the event twice a year.

I carried my 3DS around every day without fail for years. But it largely hasn't been worth it over the last year or so. So I haven't carried it much recently. Once I took my 3DS to the Pokemon Center in Osaka and still only got like 2 streetpass, I knew the feature was largely dead.

Makes me really pleased I managed to collect every prefecture in Japan and over 5000 passes. I didn't quite get every birthday though, I think I am missing about 2 or 3.

I finally got a streetpass! It wasent for the streetpass mii plaza app its was for smash bros. It still counts tho

I still take mine everywhere I go in West London and also in Gloucestershire when I'm there. I super rarely get a hit though.

I went to GAME on Saturday - didn't get any hits; they've obviously turned off their StreetPass relay too. R.I.P. the best feature of the 3DS family

Streetpass was such an underrated feature. I wish Nintendo would bring something similar to switch or mobile phones.

I keep my 3DS on me all the time now. I got excited when I saw a green light on my console over the weekend. Turned out that it wasn't an actual StreetPass, but one for Super Mario 3D Land saying I had a new box(I cleared one before I went out).
