It was super fun,but it was a super pain in the backside, thanks to the iffy controls.

I had trouble with that level on the demo but I just played the same level on the Wii and beat it on my second go. The controls on the 3DS demo are a lot worse and there's a lack of precision there for some reason which I couldn't quite put my finger on. That level highlights everything that was not quite right in the demo when compared to other versions.

On the Wii, I loved the chest levels, highlight of the whole game by a mile.
On the 3DS demo though, my god, that was a terrible experience.
Got annoyed and gave up after a few tried.

The game is not finalized yet. I'm sure they'll do (or have done) some fine-tuning... I won't buy the game either way, though, so what gives.

The chest levels are really fun and intense challenges of platforming skill if you know what you're getting into beforehand, but if you're going into them blind, without a full grasp of Rayman's repertoire of skills - like, presumably, a lot of people that downloaded the demo did - I can easily see how it would get incredibly frustrating and off-putting almost instantly. I'm sure that the controls felt a little... off on the 3DS demo (at least to me) in a level that requires the utmost precision and patience on the player's part didn't help matters.
