Horrible demo. The levels were pretty decent, except for 2. That's just a pain in the butt. But for the overall game... it feels like a simple port. Rayman is hard to see (I didn't enjoy that on the Wii either), controls are a bit weird, 3D-effect gives me a headache etc.
I was going to get this one, but after playing the demo.... Pass. Next.

i think the demo was fine, i also had a hard time with the 2nd level but that's actually a bonus stage so i don't think i have to beat that if i get the game. i think i will get it because i don't think anyone would play the game with me on multiplayer so i would would rather have it portable with 3d, streetpass and a minimap.
PS: i don't have a vita

Retro games, Modern games, all AWESOME!!!
Tried the demo, wasn't impressed. I don't know, but in terms of physics, the game feels so different than Mario. It felt...floaty. Mario, to me, feels much more fluent and more responsive, if that makes sense

Too compressed. The audio was awful and everything looked JPEG-y. On top of that, it was too small, and the second level was impossible. Probably will pass on it — might get the Wii version at some point though.
This. Rayman Origins just wasn't destined to be on the 3DS. The compressed-like Soft graphics were a bit of a letdown, and since the enivoronments are large scale it makes it even tougher to play due to the 3DS's smaller screens. The 3D Effect? Meh...Dissapointing. The audio also sounds muffled, it's obviously low quality....If this is any indication of the final product than I'll definitly be passing. Oh and i remember the original PS1 Rayman having slightly tighter controls...And I don't like how you now have to hold down the jump button to perform Rayman's hair proppeller, instead of tapping the jump button and tapping it again to stop using it like in the original game. Still, i totaly dig the art style and environments visually, yet it just doesn't look right on the 3DS.
I'll be getting the Wii version and that's that.
This. This.
I'll be getting the PS3 version.

I was pretty disappointed with this demo but saw the Wii version selling for $45AU new. I was wanting to get a game and it was between it or Mario Tennis for an extra $10AU. Decided to get the Raymans.
Seriously people, avoid the the 3DS version like the plague if you have a Wii, PS3, 360 or PC and get it on one of them instead. I was complaining like hell about the 3DS demo but I'm in love with the Wii version of this game. Better than New SMB Wii or Donkey Kong Country Returns and probably the best thing I've played on the Wii outside of Mario Galaxy and Zelda.
I'll admit, this is the first handheld game that I didn't enjoy because it was simply too small. Shame really, because they've now proven that the 3DS is now capable of modern day console experiences. Now it just has to optimize for the small 3" screen!
Am I the ONLY one who found the chest-level super fun?.......guess so .
It was super fun,but it was a super pain in the backside, thanks to the iffy controls.
