i dont like the demo. rayman controlls a bit weird. i found it very hard to land on platforms. and i had problems with recognizing what is a platform to jump on and what is just background. though i used 3D all the way up.
i have to say though that the graphics are awesome. but rayman is just not my game i guess
Apart from the Graphical and sound problems,it was a decent demo. But I'll be keeping with my Wii version.

I had fun with the demo but I like the PS3 version a lot better. Even the Vita version seemed a little too small for my liking. If I end up buying 1 of the 3 it will certainly be the PS3 version with a big screen and trophies. There are too many gorgeous details drawn to put it on such a small screen.

There's definitely a blurriness about it that I haven't really seen in other 3DS games and isn't in the footage for the other versions of the game. It's kinda like what happens when you play a DS game full screen but maybe a little bit more. I don't know if it's because everything is very, very small or if it's because it's a demo but it's definitely there.
Not on my 3DS oddly.
Well given the number of people seem to be saying the same thing independently of each other I'm pretty sure I'm not hallucinating. If you can't see it though... more power to you. Looks like it would be a pretty good game if it wasn't for the low quality sound/visuals.
Personally I was waiting for the 3DS version of this game. I have been hanging out to play this and have been ignoring the attractive prices for other versions purely because I wanted it on the 3DS. I'm one of those people who picked up the DS after ignoring Nintendo for years because I saw New SMB. What I'm trying to say is I really, really wanted this game to be awesome and for the 3DS version to look awesome. So when I say it doesn't... it's not with bias or malice and I'm pretty annoyed that it is underwhelming.
I'm not going to stand here and pretend it looks great because it doesn't.... so I'm going to pick up another version instead or maybe just wait till after E3 so I can see what's happening with Rayman Legends on the Wii U.

I own the Wii version--the 3DS demo felt like Rayman Origins in slow motion. As for the 3D, it's not like Mutant Mudds, Rayman wasn't created with 3D in mind. There's not much happening in the background or foreground. The home console version of Rayman is best. If you decide to get it for the Wii however, be aware that there are many available 2D platformers better than Rayman Origins.
It was fun, but very much inferior to all the other versions. It did convince me to try out the PC demo though, and then get the PC version. I urge all of you interested in the demo to try it out - it's 50% off on steam today.
I really loved it but got a screaming headache after playing it. It uses that annoying bug eye 3D effect. It stretches the display backwards and widens it. Doesn't sit well on my eyes. -_-

It sounded a bit like that too me as well. So in Goldmansach terms... I get paid 50% of the actual price of Rayman Origins... Luckily I have the PC version already (and DRM free I might add, thank you Ubisoft for not needing to have the disc in the drive to play it.)
Yeah anyways I'll just with the Wii's version...unless they fix all this stuff from the 3DS demo, then I might think about it. (something tells me I doubt they will though)

All right, I have the Wii version, and I'm on the fence with whether or not I'll be getting this one. I'm not gonna lie, the graphics look terrible compared to the Wii version (and the tv I play my Wii games on is almost 8 years old and SD). They lacked the vibrancy of the Wii version, felt blurry and the 3D effect was underwhelming and added nothing to the game (though I can honestly say I expected that, since the graphics were made for 2D). But it is portable, and it's not like I'm required to use the Circle Pad. Ultimately, what's gonna decide it for me is whether or not the game has different levels from the console version (as in redesigned throughout the entire game, not just a few bonus ones added during the extra time used to create this). I have far to many games to drop the cash (and time) to play an inferior version of a game I already have.
Oh, and for those of you complaining about how hard the 2nd demo level was, it's supposed to be hard. Those levels are sprinkled out, one per world, to provide a stiff challenge for hardcore 100% completionists. Nobody's gonna force you to play those.
It was still a playable Rayman Origins, and therefore good, and the 3D effect was nice enough, but unless the 3DS is your only option to play the game, I can't in good conscience recommend this version over any of the others.
That it'll retail for more than the much better looking and sounding, and slightly better playing, console versions (and without their multiplayer) is a bit of a joke.
Played the demo. While it was fun and did look good (3D effect included) it couldn't hold a candle to the Wii version. There are less enemies, there's something not right with the music and sound-effects, Music loops and loops at the end of a level. And I gave up on the treasure-chest level because pressing the L or R button to run didn't feel right. The Wii version is better!!
The Tricky Treasure levels in the full game are pretty analogous to the Golden Temple levels in DKCR - they require unlocking, there's only one per world, they're really hard, and the treasure found in them go towards unlocking... something. Won't spoil. So don't be concerned that they're ridiculously hard compared to the other two levels in the demo. They're supposed to be
If by that you mean the 3DS version, well i totally agree with you. I just loved the 3DS demo. June will kill my wallet: Rayman Origin, Kingdom Hearts, Heroes of ruin... gosh =_=
August will be worse.... T-T
Hate to break it to you, but KH comes out at the end of July
