Topic: Rayman Origins Demo

Thoughts? What do think of the 3D effect? The Levels themselves? The resolution? Am I the only one who had a lot of trouble with the treasure chest level?

It was fun playing with the little fuzzy thing for a while, but I don't think my frail eyes can take that level of graphical compression for more than a an hour.
The music is nice but it got repetitve quite fast in some parts.
The 3D effect was nice, though.

The Wii version is better IMO.
The 3ds version even has a glitch! On the last level, I got an electoon/thing that makes the others red and dance. I took damage and the audio stopped. As soon as the electoons returned to normal, the music and sound effects came back on. But like 5 seconds behind the image on the screen.

I have a Vita and the game on Vita.

That should explain my thoughts on this tripe version just fine.

Worst version by far. Also, it just shows how uncomfortable the D-pad is.
About the 3D effect, nothing special, except when you catch some lums, and like "clayton" said, the demo has some sound problems.
They could have add some extras, like they did with vita's version...well. Passable.

If by that you mean the 3DS version, well i totally agree with you.
I just loved the 3DS demo.
June will kill my wallet: Rayman Origin, Kingdom Hearts, Heroes of ruin... gosh =_=

August will be worse.... T-T

Now that we know I can do that immature crap too, can you please stop derailing yet another topic?

I actually don't see what people mean by the framerate dropping in general. I found everything to look sharp and nice. Especially with 3D on. I still find the level layouts to be mediocre when compared to other platform games but it's still fun for what it is. And I never suffered from any glitches neither.

Too compressed. The audio was awful and everything looked JPEG-y. On top of that, it was too small, and the second level was impossible. Probably will pass on it — might get the Wii version at some point though.

A Few Days Ago I decided to play the PS3 Demo. It's alot more proper, co op actually feels great in this game, everything looked beautiful
Can't say the same for 3DS. Rayman Origins wasn't meant for a handheld console. However the 3D is well done.

Way too tiny on the 3ds, and soooo much compression. I could see it being gorgeous and fun on a big screen, but not on the 3DS.

Geez, I'm glad I wasn't the only guy who couldn't get past the second level! That one was as hard as crap!

I liked it; I played it on the Wii. I was impressed. Too bad there's no multiplayer.

wow, i played this demo on Xbox, and it was not fun... downloaded this demo... i think i prefer the Xbox version...

(Xbox > PS3) just sayin'...

This was always going to end badly, sadly. The 3DS is a technically impressive machine, but it's not up to home console standards.

That second level.....even 50 attempts couldnt get me through. Its kinda put me off.

Hopefully these problems are just in the demo only and are fixed in the full version. For me the game just felt sluggish compared to the Wii's. (what I have right now) 3D effect is nice though...
