Topic: Rayman Origins 3DS fails second release?!

Just making some noise about the delay of this game. The eshop demo got me excited. Controlling the game with the circle pad is the reason I want this. I preordered with evil GameStop. Sooo dissapointed. Anyone else still waiting for this version? I feel like the only one that cares anymore.

I do wonder why SEGA and Ubisoft are delaying 3DS games in North America

Honestly, if you care about this game or 2D platformers, at this point you should probably just bite the bullet and buy one of the versions available for any of the other current systems. If you enjoyed the 3DS demo, you'll enjoy them much more.

They're all the exact same price or cheaper as the 3DS version, without the hassles of a November 2012 release date or diminished audio, visuals and controls. Plus, the console versions all have a great local co-op multi-player mode, if you care about that sort of thing.

When one of the major attractions of a game is how pretty it looks and that visual fidelity is toned down and arguably made worse for another version of the game, it's not too much of a surprise that the other version does not sell well.

Contemplating the vita version if the vita ever gets any games I want to make me buy one. The white bundle in oct has me interested possibly

I'm still planning on buying the 3DS version. I was very disappointed with the delay as well. I am crossing my fingers that it was to address problems brought up after the launch of the demo....

For those thinking it will fix problems: It will not. It was released in europe a few days ago and some people on youtube even have copies of it. It has the same problems as the demo, and I can't imagine Ubisoft fixing them for NA only. Plus Nintendo Power just rated it an 8/10 and mentioned all of the problems, so I think Ubisoft is just being mysterious again.

Personally, I wouldn't buy the game. The first level of the demo was amazing, and didn't really have much sound problems. The other stages, however, were terrible. I wonder why Ubisoft didn't just port the PSV version to the 3DS.

I read a review for the 3DS versin and said it was the worst port of Rayman Origins. I hope they add co-op and a better presentation
