You do realize that a 3DS port is just being considered at the moment, right? Of course, that would be slightly awesome if it happened, but it's still an up-in-the-air situation.

Yes, I know but I'm 98% sure it will materialize on the 3DS.
It would be a lame duck decision to not bring Rayman Origins to the 3DS. Many people commented in support of Rayman Origins for 3DS as well. If enough people continue to support Rayman Origins for 3DS I'm sure Ubisoft will go forward with the game on 3DS although again I have faith that it will come to the Nintendo 3DS anyway.

I'm guessing it would be really close to the early childhood PS1 game....For a kiddy game, it was hard and pretty good. The leapfrog before leapfrog the vtech before vtech...You know how they are making learning videogame consoles for little kids.
This game in general makes me very, very sad...luckily Prince of Persia on the 360 is closer to the Rayman I know and love, so I'll be fine without it.
It would be great if this is on wiiware or 3dsware. It's more likely that it would be 3dsware because of wiiwares size limit. Although we don't know if 3dsware will have a bigger filesize limit but hopefully it will. If it does then I would also like ubisoft to port Scott Pilgrim vs. the world to 3dsware.

I'm agree that Rayman Origins will be a 3DSware title. It looks the part to say the very lest.
With the many references to Nintendo throughout the Scott Pilgrim franchise it wouldn't surprise me if Scott Pilgrim vs. The World does end up on the 3DS sooner or later.

It looks the part, but then again, it also looks like a Wiiware or PSN game, yet it's a disc game. I suppose it all comes down to the size limit.
You're right mickeymac. It really could come down to size, but I'm sure the 3DS will be like the iPad to Nintendo and be more than able to handle a game like Rayman Origins. I can't imagine it being a very big game.
I know this is off topic Mickeymac but I seriously like your icon. May I ask where did you find it?

That's if Nintendo makes the right decisions, which I certainly hope they do. I know they've made some very batty decisions before, but that was before they had such strong competition. I am curious about the size, however.

Really? ... a Rayman game without those annoying rabbits and not in 3D? I'll take it! Globox and Rayman slapping each other was hilarious and this trailer was epic, Although i think the fairy was enjoying Rayman's helicopter power a little too much
