I wish they had added Sonic characters as well as Sarah Bryant from Virtua Fighter and Claire Redfield from Resident Evil (Due to me being a huge Sonic fan as noted by my username, and Sarah Bryant and Claire Redfield being 2 of my top 3 favorite female video game characters. The last one being Aya Brea from Parasite Eve/The 3rd Birthday)
I am excited for this game. The Limited Edition is the default edition for $39.99 which i heard comes with an art book or something.
I wonder, will it become a RARE game quickly, I probably should pre-order it before it's too late.

Yeah, that was my thought. Better to be safe than sorry.
So how does this play? All the trailers just show flashy attacks? Do you move people around like in Fire Emblem or what?
from what I understand, it's a strategy RPG, yes. Honestly likely not gonna try to look up what the gameplay's like until like the week of release. Hey, the last time I did that was for Radiant Historia so...
I need to know a whole lot more about this game before I take the plunge! I might just sit back and wait for the reviews to start rolling in.
Is this primarily a fighting game with RPG elements? Fighting games are some of my least favorite. I do like some but for the most part suck at them.
Other way around. It's an SRPG with fighting game elements. You have the usual square grid where you move and position units, but when you initiate battle, it's becomes more fighting-like. You inputs commands (sort of like Xenogears/Xenosaga) at they're executed in real time.
Hope you got that... lol.
"This sword shall always be the sword of the oppressed. I swear it again now!"
The battle system seems extremely similar to Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier, which is a good thing, because that game had an excellent battle system.

Thanks for that info. I've played enough (plus the two you had mentioned) srpgs to understand quite nicely. Still ill wait for some reviews on this as I'm sceptical!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Completly psyched for this game to release! June was already awesome with Animal Crossing but now I have this to look forward to as well . Not tottaly sure how the fighting element will work out, like is it just gonna be smashing the X button over and over or what, but I'm sure it'll deliver.
I'm super excited for this game. I love fighting games, and adding the SRPG element is something different, but enticing. Did I mention I'm a sucker for crossover games? Half of these characters I hardly recognize, but I'm very happy with the roster. Though when I watched the trailer I noticed some uh... jiggling.
