WOW!!! You must have played day and night to finish all those puzzles that fast. So, about the hard coded daily download... That is exactly how the previous games of this series were done. There never was anything to download. The proof of that was simple. At the time the code there were still many puzzles to go in the weekly index. The code was made to see all the puzzles sitting there on the cart and unlocking them. I know this is true and factual because I helped unlock them along with Kenobi some years back. There is a bug here in this version. Whether it is a date error or a confirmation it gets an internet check sum is your guess and mine because 3DS games have no emulators nor code search engines at this time...meaning...there is no way to check it on this end. Nintendo will solve the issue by a patch like you said. That is of course by download via Spot Pass. Enjoy the game.

Professor Layton DLC has been fixed ... I just downloaded the first 3 DLC games from Nintendo.

I live in the U.S. so we're good here, at least. Don't know about anyone else...

i have a quick question..do you have to play the game everyday to get the puzzles or can u download the puzzles every like week or so?

Supposedly you could wait all year and then check 365 days later and get all 365 of them, if you so choose. Or plug any number in the place and that would work as well. Welp, see ya later.

Now it would still be nice to know from people who download their first puzzle(s) later. Or people from Europe who downloaded 'em before today. Would be great if one of you guys could let us know how many puzzles it downloaded at once. So we can be absolutely sure this isn't just a one-off to make sure day one buyers didn't miss anything. It downloaded five puzzles for me today.

Still not working for me, same error. Although seems to have been solved for everyone that's not me!

Not working for me either in the UK, very frustrating. I do get a different error message now though:

Not sure if this will work for everyone but I have just changed my WPA security type in the internet settings. It was set at WPA2-PSK(AES) and I just took a chance and changed it to WPA-PSK (AES) and then went to download the daily puzzles - I got the 5 games no problem. Try this one out - good luck!!
