Topic: Problem with my 3DS XL

so basically what happened was i turned on my ds and i heard a snaping noise then it turned off. after i oppened it up again the top screen was working mostly fine exept it was purple-ish. it tracked everything fine and all the audio was coming through fine. the bottom screen however was black exept you could kind of see what was on the screen. it wouldnt track what was happening though. if i was on my homepage and taped on a folder, the first game that was in it's logo would come up at the top but at the bottom i still say the homepage. about 10 seconds later it would show the folder being open. i dont know if my ds is permanantly broken or if its a thing i can fix so any advice people can offer me is appreciated. thank you for reading this and i appreciate any help you give me
