Ive decided to sell my 3DS while a local store is offering me £130 for it to trade against a Vita which is what i payed for it anyway, now i love my 3DS and always played games with the 3D on full its just that i'd put certain money on it that Nintendo are going to release a newer better version within a year and the screens are just to small for me after my XL for me bigger is so much better with video games, trouble is i have my ambassador games on it and various download Ware/VC titles aswell, how do i make sure that when i buy another 3DS (hopefully newer model) in the future i can redownload the same games for FREE and prepare my current 3DS for sale etc ? thx
Unfortunately, there is no way to do this. Yes, you can do a full system transfer to a theoretical 3DS lite but you MUST have the source system and target system together to do the transfer. In other words, there is absolutely no way to sell your 3DS right now and still secure your ambassador games or any other games you may have downloaded on it.
keep it. i still dont think there will be a new model within 1-2 years. and when it comes out you can still sell your 3DS at a good price, and transfer the downloaded games to the new 3ds. i did that with my dsi. wiated for the system update to transfer and then sold the dsi
Yeah I would wait a while to get a Vita anyway. Wait til it gets some good games and until Sony works all the bugs out (I've heard quite a few reported) and has full support of PSP/PS1 games :3
Yes, once they get full support of ps1 games I might take a gander at the psp. Also, the ability to play my ps3 games on the vita sounds very tempting since i get very lil alone time with my TV. This is the #1 reason why I love my handhelds so much. With the 3DS' power, i can't wait to see what kind of games developers start making for it.
