Topic: Possibilty of a Nintendo 2DS XL??

Hi, I want to buy a new 3DS because of the new Smash but I don't want to destroy my beloved Zelda 3DS destroying the circle pad or the hinges, so my question is, there is a possibility of a 2DS XL??

What they need is a $175.00 model that is exactly like a 3DS XL sans 3D

Your comment about destroying the circle pad on your 3DS is one of the main reasons why I'm planning on avoiding that version of the game. I absolutely love my 3DS XL, but to me the circle pad doesn't seem up for such a fast-paced game. If I get either game it'll be the Wii U version.

I highly doubt it now with the New 3DS coming out in Japan. If they were going to make a 2DS XL they probably would have done so already.

Or what about a 1DS, one touch screen that displays both the top and bottom screen at the same time, this can be like the GBA micro but there could be different sizes, it can also have a cover to close like a book, no 3D, maybe it could be cheaper then the 2DS but maybe we can lay off with different models for a while...
