Topic: *POLL* .hack// Series on 3DS... Yes or No?

I'm a huge .hack// fan.
My only problem is that I was never able to find the 4th game.
I've played and beaten the first 3 multiple times and in the years since they were released my PS2 got lost/broke and the games went missing.
So, I want to know, who else would like to see this series re-released for the 3DS?

I saw a LP of the series. I was impressed, and entertained by the games.
I would say yes as long as improvements were made, but it would need to be made ground-up for the 3DD anyways. They would be best off creating sequals for the system.
I believe CyberConnect2 made Solatrobo, and that was thier first game on a Nintendo system. The timimg right before the 3DS was horrible, but it make satisfactory sales?
I would love to play at least one of thier games, and I mainly have Nintendo consles. D:

No. Nothing but the PS3 would be acceptable for that series.

I don't want to buy a PS3, especially now that there is no PS2/1 Backwards Compatibility.
Or even a PS2.
Like I said, the games are near impossible to find, and when i do find them, they are extremely over-priced!

And I don't want to play a sub-par port. It seems we have conundrom...

You thought I was going to say "make a new game that isn't bad"? Well, you're wrong. I would never EVER utter those words.

What's CC2 even working on right now?
The last I heard of them was a rumor of them nibbling on the dead line that was Mega Man Legends 3, assuming that they decided it wasn't worth it, or Capcom failed to reel them in, I'm guessing that that's not happening.
Though that does seem like they have intrest in developing for the 3DS...

Last game they worked on was Asura's Wrath. That wasn't too long ago, actually.

The new one that's coming out (the ultimate ninja storm looking one) seems like it could fit the 3DS. But thats a spin off so I don't know

I would definitely be interested in getting those games for the 3DS. I have the first one for the PS2, but I haven't played it yet because I understand it's "to be continued" and the second, third, and especially the fourth are too expensive for me at the moment. Of course, I'm pretty pro anything .Hack...

If they do do these games, I hope they put the "episode" that came on the second disk on a seperate DS cart.

You mean Luminality? I don't really see why they'd do that. It's just 4 30 minute anime episodes, prior to the HD days. I'm sure they could fit them in no problem.
