Oh, so that`s what is it for, I was wondering what these icons mean...

You got Pokerus? That's extremely lucky - throughout my 12 years of playing Pokemon, I have contracted Pokerus only once. It doubles the amount of EVs you gain from each Pokemon fainted.
Also, there's no other icons like that, aside from Pokerus and the shiny star.

Ugh. I've been trying to make a second team, just for the sake of having a second team, and things aren't going too well. I initially spent half an hour choosing the members, but I'm just not feeling it. Maybe you guys can tell me if this is a good selection or not because I'm just not doing as great with these guys as my A-team when they were growing...

The thing is that each person has a certain playstyle with Pokemon. If you're into hyper-offensive Pokemon, take a look at Pokemon like Terrakion, Lucario, Hydreigon, Mamoswine, Breloom, and Excadrill. If you like playing defensively, Skarmory, Blissey, Hippowodon, and Celebi. Really, just look at what you like on Serebii or Smogon and decide for yourself - team building is largely an individual thing to do.

Kind of wish that I bothered to continuously transfer over Pokemon. I could surprise all of the trainers after R/S/E with my male Gardevoir and other impossibilities.

Not that EV training is tedious anymore - 10 Horde battles and another normal battle at the most can completely max out a stat with a Power item.

Indeed - it removes another factor of potential mistakes when EV training.

Just a random question, does Gooey go both ways (you use an attack that makes contact with the opponent and vice versa) Or just one of the 2?
Im asking because i just bred a Goomy with an perfect Attack nature per accident, and an Speed-lowering Outrage sounds amazing.
Vibes and low lights
Y'know, now that I think about it, some of my Pokémon over at Black 2 have 255 EVs because I couldn't be bothered to count. What do you think happens when I transfer them over here? Will some stats be redone to 252?
@CorporalPegasus - Contact with the Pokémon lowers the attacker's Speed stat. So it probably doesn't go both ways, but you can always experiment.

I'm now entering Route 12 from Shalour City and the lady sitting down is speaking in German. Anyone else experiencing this?

You know, I think I found a plausible ingame reason why there's only 72 new Pokemon in this game: the Great War 3000 years ago wiped most of them out.
