Actually, I think those sprites are ugly, especially the Xerneas one.

That Xerneas looks like it would be from the Gameboy Color era.

I wouldn't mind if Fennekin ended up evolving into some sort of Toamon type pokemon somehow. At least then it has to be fire/physic.

It doesn't really mean much either way. Most water Pokemon can use ice-type moves anyway, including ice beam (which is what I think that is)

Hmm...will definitely pick up this game when it comes out. I have to say though...I'm not impressed at the pokémon starters they've showed us. Fennekin looks alright, but Froakie and Chespin....don't look the greatest in my opinion

Junichi Masuda talks a bit about X and Y. He drops a real interesting hint on a new battle mechanic, apparently. Maybe it's something along the lines of Pokemon evolving through friendship but more battle related. I really like his description of the Pokemon games too. It's nice and pretty much how I feel about the games too.

im an expereinced pokemon fan like all of you!, and what i would really like is the pokemon regions such as:
sinnoh,hoen,kanto and johto and even unova,bearing in mind i dont no what the new region is going to be called.#
anyway i think some pokemon at least 30 from each region should have a new evoloution or pre evoloution.

i think that will bring alot of spark back into all of the pokemon fans,

Never heard of Return, Pokemon evolving through happiness or other such stuff then? Not exactly new, and the former is actually pretty useful at a competitive/tournament level.

True, but I'm just saying to someone above that having to care for your Pokemon to do well in battle isn't exactly a new thing.

A new battle mechanism that allows your Pokémon to become even more powerful when the bonds you share grow stronger.
