Eh, pretty safe bets for memorable and contrasting new games. Though I think the thread's title should be changed for 25 hours, reduce the number of people who could be spoiled.

@Octane: That is where my response is coming from, I am at least hoping that a MissingNo Plush comes out this direct as I will buy at least one. Or hopefully Pokémon Stadium.

Is the game's name really a spoiler?

I don't really mind that much since it was pretty much what you can expect from a 5 minute long Direct. It's just the names of the games. That pretty much means that Gen 7 is coming, although they could make an exception and it's still part of Gen 6, but we don't really know anything else. We don't know what kind of changes are made to gameplay and what kind of new Pokémon are added other than Magearna and Zygarde forms if they're still a thing (then there's that Ash-Greninja thing but I don't know what to make of it...).

In fact it's the sequel (like B2W2 to BW) to ORAS.

Solrock and Lunatone spinoff game with Megas of each.

Oh, and don't believe the articles floating around saying it's been confirmed. Those writers need to learn how to read a twitter handle.

@Tsurii: No it's just a silly prediction based on the Sun/Moon, Solrock/Lunatone similarities and those 2 Pokemon are gen 3.

@arronishere: well it's hard to draw the lines for things like this, otherwise we might as well just have the list of every game that will be discussed at E3 revealed before the event starts, if it truly spoils nothing. That's why it's better in my opinion at least to just play it as safe as one can, especially in this instance where it is less than a day away from being revealed.

So, is this going to be gen 7 or gen 6.5? What really qualifies a game to be a different gen? Region or new Pokemon?

I'd say new pokemon.

I hope this is a sequel to XY but in a different region. Pretty close to it, like Germany, so there's no need for new Pokémon.

New Megas on the other hand...
