It's just very puzzling why they would make a free rumble... I never played the other rumbles but this one seems decently big, unlike shuffle which has low development time and microtransactions all over the place.
Rumble has some microtransactions but they're easily skippable from what I read on the main site. You don't miss out on anything.

So I've never really played a Rumble game, but since this one is F2P, I thought I'd give it a shot. The game is actually a little better than I thought it'd be, the gameplay is simple, but addicting. The F2P elements don't really limit you that much, you need Poke Diamonds to unlock new areas and to hold more Pokemon (although where I am in the game, the latter isn't much of a concern), other than that it's very playable. I had trouble with the first challenge because I didn't have anything that was useful against Ghost, but after grinding in one of the Leafy areas, I somehow ended up with a Chestnaught that knew Bite, which mopped the floor with everything (even the Mega Alakazam went down in about 10 seconds). I have the Leafy, Ember, and Dew Balloons so far, right now I'm 5 PokeDiamonds short of buying the Ruby or Sapphire Balloons.
