Topic: pokemon moves

I'm new to pokemon, x and y are my first games. I'm confused as to how moves work, is there a way to change them out later or should I be more selective when a pokemon learns a new move? Thanks in advance

I'm not too good at the strategy side of Pokémon, but you should probably choose the moves you think are best. You also recieve HMs and TMs throughout the game (not sure if you can buy TMs), and you can teach certain moves to certain Pokémon. The HMs are permanent, the TMs can be replaced. I'm not sure if that's what you were asking, but hopefully I helped you in some way.
