From what i've seen of the 3ds games, it seems that 3DS could handle a third person 3d pokemon game for gen 6. So, what do you think of the idea of a third person pokemon game?

I'd love to see it, but they would have to change a lot more than the camera angles to make it worth buying.

what do you mean "third person?" traditional pokemon rpgs ARE third person...

also, if it's on 3DS, it wouldn't be on a home console. i'm confused.

The game is going to remain tile based so don't expect a colloseum style game. I think they should do full 3D battles though.

I'd wish for a Pokemon MMO but we are jumping ahead of ourselves, aren't we? Isn't it a bit early for Gen. 6?

I wanted one for the DS where you could yell at the screen and then your Pokemon would do what you yelled at it, just like in the anime.

I think they can pull this off. It's pretty much undisputed that it's at least better than the gamecube in terms of graphics. so they can pull off colloseum but they would probably need an install chip for all the pokemon like Forza 3.

i meant the way a pokemon game looks when you play pokemon xd, colliseum, etc...

I think they are going in the right direction with Black & White. The battles are becoming more animated but they aren't getting ridiculously slow and its easier to trade/battle other peoples than it ever was. That's what I want out of pokemans.

If they did something similar to Black & White but in 16:9, shinier overworld and well textured high polygon pokemans that would be pretty much perfection for this series for me. Unless it increased battle times.......

Well we probably won't get one for the DS - the DS' life span is nearly over, but there might be one for the 3DS.

I think I know what you mean by 3rd person you mean the 3rd person in 3D _{(the N64 kind of 3D, kinda annoying that you have to add this nowadays they should invent another name for one of the 3Ds)} like most Grand Theft Auto or Zelda games. Pokémon games at the moment are bird's eye or top down view.

Also since Pokemon Black and White is generation V I don't see why people think it's too early to talk about generation VI on the 3DS.
Also I'd love it if in fights all the crap like the HP, Pokémon names etc. are on the bottom screen and the top screen shows Pokémon Stadium-like fights with 3D _{(the N64-kind)} models.
