Anyways, it seems that CosmicC actually already HAS the game, because he can tell us that the game looks pixelated in game. Because, you know, it's not sensible to assume the graphics based on the screenshots.

Also no thanks @Pokepark Visuals. I'm fine with the maintaing of the more "realistic world" style they have.
And I honestly love the cell shading thing they've got going on with the battles.

Is it just me or or did some of the footage shown feel a bit cartoonish, with the exceptionof Pikachu introducing it? I'll admit too that I'd love to see them be more realistic (perhaps hyper-realistic if anyone choses to search it, for an idea of what I mean), with actual textures in both environments and chars, but those earlier examples just look kinda creepy like they came out of a gory zombie flick. Just sayin. Other than that, I'd like to see some physical contact battles for once, no more flashy stars animation or any of that when they attack as opposed to watching the opponent show pain from thin air or flashy animations.

You know how they have the option to turn off battle animations? How about you can choose between any of the older games' animations/styles when animating battles?

Nah, the animations simply shouldn't be an option. You realize technically/in essence, Pokémon is kid/teen friendly cockfighting, right? The gameplay should reflect that and not hide the physical side which would probably bump them up to that next level, like T rating. I don't necesserily see this as a bad thing seeings how The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess saw it. And off-topic, I'd actually like this come around a bit more in Nintendo's franchises for those of us who grew up with them back in the retro days, if not where gameplay is concerned, but at the very least environments and characters.

I wouldn't call this an idea, but I did enjoy when the first Pokémon in your party would follow your sprite. Like in Pokémon Yellow, with Pikachu. However, I don't think this is something they'll add.

Don't you mean the final representation? Because no offense, but if it's screenshots coming from in-game, then it pretty much is showing us "how blocky/jaggy" the game could end up looking. That's what videos and screenshots are meant for, to show off a game/product's intended capability in order to capture our attention and interest. If it's only a teaser that's 1 thing, but without gameplay what are we supposed to expect?

I wouldn't get hung up on the graphics too much. The game isn't out for 10 months so no doubt the videos and screen shots are taken from a beta version.
I think they should work on some of the features they've included previously. The Pokewalker, the Join Avenue and some of the C-Gear functions are great but would work so much better on the 3DS, where you wouldn't need the game running in sleep mode.

Of course I'd pay double the usual price for a multi-region game (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova) but I think I'll be President of Nintendo before that happens. On the topic of regions, I doubt the region is supposed to be based on Europe. If you were going to create something that symbolises the UK would you really pick the Eden project? That's right up there on my list with the Bullring in Birmingham (No offence to people in Cornwall and Birmingham, I'm from Milton Keynes and there's nothing here but roundabouts and concrete cows). But who knows, I'm just speculating. I have no evidence to support anything I've said, I'm not like the guy on the Gamefaqs forum that has a dad at Nintendo and a beta version of the game

I know it's not the final product, I was making a point. Again as i said, tasters, demos, betas, etc, a different case, also why I mentioned showingi ntended capability. Besdies, we already know from other games since the DS itself that it's perfectly capable of better than ythis, all pending GameFreaks. (almost started listing games directly from Nintendo and didn't exactly wanna use those as examples).

Well if thats what the game is going to look like I am not impressed, and most times when there are screen shots of a game, those screen shots are exactly what its going to look like.

I totally asgree with you because there's been numorous times over the years where devs have said it doesn't represent the final product, but after all is said is done and it's reelased what have they really changed? Very little imo because they're usually more focused on fine tuning the game mechanics and that sort, and so the presentation of it tendsr takes a bit of a back seat to this.
