Recently there has been the confirmation of Pokemon X & Y Which for many of you is really exciting, but I have been thinking recently why Game Freak Dosn't make a Pokemon game for the 3DS just like X & Y but instead of choosing your charater, you can be able to make your own? (Or even use your Miis, though that might ruin the game)

Also They could try to make a effort to make the game more realistic, because I looked at the screen shots and and as always the gameplay looks as pixelated as ever.
Some of you may prefer pixels, and some of you may not. I for one though would like to them to improve on their visuals.

So really I am looking forward and not looking forward to Pokemon X & Y.Feel free to Share your views and comments

I like the idea but the miis would look a little weird as playable characters.

The footage is blown up (not upscaled) 250%. I think that makes everything look pixelated.

They won't change the game too drastically, it'd be a way too risky move financially for them. It's possible that eventually we'll have more realism, but I expect it to be in baby steps. The series is still making a ton of money so this definitely won't be the last generation or anything.

A worldwide scope appears to be a huge part of the game (the Eiffel tower look-alike, the Pikachu electrifying the Earth in the beginning of the trailer, Iwata blabbing about a simultaneous worldwide release) so we can probably expect a huge map with several different regions based off of different countries. This might be a little too much to expect, but what if each country is actually a real country. There could be a gym in Washington DC or New York City, Tokyo, London... The possibilities go on and on! I would be surprised if something like "A trainer from Kansas challenges you!" didn't come up in online play.

That's not the point. Even when playing the game in normal size it would be pixelated. (Just like HG, SS, B/W1 & B/W2)

All I have to say is if I see another DS Pokemon game,I'm gonna go mad.

Pokemon games are fun and I like playing them but I am not a fan boy. All we need is good visuals to improve the games and make them more enjoyable.Here is a example of the visuals that I would like to see in the next Pokemon game that is based on X or Y.

You're arguing about style, not graphical ability. All 3DS games look pixelated when not actually playing them.

I want the graphics to be like the above. I want The game to have Visuals Like Poke Park 2.

Yes I realise that every game has pixels, but on this particular game the pixels are way to visible.

I think you're getting worried over nothing. ALL 3DS games look UGLY in screenshots and sme times video. Look at some Kid Icarus: Uprising screenshots in Nintendo Power and then on the 3DS itself. Much better. Plus, this is most likely early/mid point footage we get. There's still a whole 9 months for them to polish the game and add little touches.
I'll at least agree the PMD game is looking better graphically as of right now,

That screenshot is from a TV. This screenshot is from a handheld. Unless you have a Vita (hehe), you're not gonna get good screenshots :3

yeah i actually get what you mean its my main complain about the new games that even thought some parts look amazing like the battles the overall look of some pkm still look pixelated i mean they have the tools and ability to make the game look good like the pokemon park you meantion or even like pokemon colesseum i mean how many years ago was that and it still looks good to me
