Topic: 3DS in the Middle East?

hi guys am omar from egypt and i wanna ask when does the 3ds hit the stores in middle east and what will be the price. and another important issue which region does the middle east belong in order to import games consistent with the region lock . because here in egypt retailers double the price approximately 3 times

from an egytian nintendo fan since childhood

I don't know. they'll probably stock european games if any, but when and for what cost I don't think anyone can say. sometime after March 25 is my guess.

The only thing I can think of is that you might have to import a European one along with the games since it will be region locked. But rest assured Omar if Nintendo says something about a Mid East release NL will be the place to find out.

i think i'll do that because here the games are doubled as an example need for speed hot pursuit for ps3 cost about 100 us dollars approximately * in some retailers

The Region Gonna be (US) , the Price is 1000+ Riyals/Dirhams .

I've always been fascinated by the games industry in the Middle East... No surprises that it would be expensive (similar situation to here), but things like censorship etc would be interesting to research.

Read a heck of a feature on games in Iran in Game Informer recently, actually.

Iran is a different issue , GCC Countries usually get games a week early before release date

90% of the games that comes before release are EURO Version , because we got a very Huge Euro Games Distributor in Dubai

we also don't have any Games Law in here , they can Break Street Date once they got the games

I've bought some of my PS3/360 games two weeks early b4 release .

For The HandHelds (Systems/Games) Most of them are US Version in Middle East & it's a bit difficult to break their street date.
