I'm still pondering to get that game or not. Will it offer enough bang for your buck is my question. Steel Diver, Rayman 3D, and maybe this are the titles i'm getting at launch, if my pockets and game trade-ins are deep enough...

From the article in the latest issue of Nintendo Power it seems as if there is going to be more to Pilot Wings Resort than meets the eye. I think I'll wait until March 27th and I can actually read the packages and see what I gather in the store before I make a purchase. To be honest, the last issue of Nintendo Power magazine is the best I've seen in a long time. It sure has me even more excited for the Nintendo 3DS.

Yes and they dont look like those Horrid Avatars on the 360
Personally, I think the 360's avatars look a lot better.. especially compared to these more detailed Mii's for the 3DS. They just look creepy and too bland. But I don't want to turn this into a console war and I know 90% of this forum will disagree with me
The game itself looks great though, I think it's going to be the must buy 3DS launch title.

I can agree with you on everything you just said. 360 avatars are MUCH better looking than Miis. Miis offer more customised hair and facial features though, and you dont have to pay for any of it. Grumbles something about stupid Microsoft points
And yes, I'm definitely getting this game at launch.
First PW:R review is up. You can read it here. Unfortunately, I've only read that Wuhu island is the only location, although it does offer a lot of variety and it also got a great score. I'll wait for more reviews, but I'm thinking of picking this up later in the year. EDIT- Squirrel suits FTW! That is all.
Evidently Nintendo revealed during one of the Q&A sessions at GDC that Pilotwings Resort was developed by the people behind ExciteTruck and ExciteBots.
