Topic: PIKMIN 3! But which console?

I read something a couple months ago about Mr. Miamato talking about "making a new pikmin character" it finally occured to me, will they release it for 3DS? or Wii? What do you think? If you want, explain why. I honestly dont know because they would both be great so I'd say both because you could have a special pikmin on 3DS and one on Wii and to get them on the other system you would need both games to connect to eachother with. My guess! now how about yours?

I think 3DS would be great, for the 3D part.

I believe that somewhere Miyamoto affirmed it was a Wii title. Im too lazy to look for it though.

I don't think he said it was for pikmin, just that he might start working on a new character.

Hopefully Wii. Mainly because I heard great things about the controls for Pikmin NPC.

Although it wouldn't surprise me as everyone is trying to make the 3rd game in any series on the 3DS.

im 99% positive he said for pikmin I remember reading something like "If everything goes accordingly, I'll be working on a new pikmin character, I mean it's been 10 Years since the release of Pikmin 2"

i thought they said somethinh about pikmin 3DS....but i may be mistaken.

I'm quite sure that at his roundtable thing at e3, Miyamoto only wanted to answer questions regarding 3DS. But then someone still asked about Pikmin 3 and its absence from the show. And I believe his answer was something along the lines of "I want to keep the focus on 3DS but I can tell you that Pikmin 3 is well into developement and it is a Wii game."

I remember in an interview after E3 he said something about it having a fairly small development team, and that it was coming along nicely, but I have no idea where I read that.

@Bboy2970, I also remember reading that statement. I also read the article which the others have already mentioned regarding Pikmin 3 being a Wii title.

Hopefully, we will see Pikmin on the Nintendo 3DS.

He must be posting this from the future, but it is going through a wormhole in cyberspace back to our time, which also must mean the game is on the 3DS because he posted this topic under 3DS. It also means he's a witch! BURN THE WITCH! (wait, what?)

i can imagine nintendo marketing it as Pikmin 3(DS) or something similar and releasing on 3DS but a Pikmin on wii and 3ds would be good
