Anybody have any idea when/if Picross 3D2 will come to the US or Europe?

It's been a fair while since the Japanese release and I'm itching to scratch some of those new 3D Picross puzzles. Surely we deserve some blocky love?

I'm willing to bet this game Will release along side the next Nintendo Direct in one of those "oh yeah, and you can download it today!" moments. It would explain why they haven't announced it yet.

I doubt it as it's a retail title in Japan... unless they plan on selling it as a $25+ eShop exclusive in the West...

I hope there isn't excessive tutorials.
I wanted Professor Tetra in Pokemon Picross to STFU.
All her "special tips" is stuff I already learned from playing Picross DS, Mario Picross and (Mario) Picross 2 over the years. Games that only tell you the basic rules and leave the advanced strategies for you to figure out yourself.

Same. Fortunately, it had only taken a few minutes to get her off my back. It was certainly more annoying than I thought it would be.

Puzzle games don't seem to be overly popular in the west, so download only is a possibility. I'd prefer a cart, but if that's the only way to get it, I'll get it!

Definitely a day 1 purchase however it arrives. Just as long as it does!

Dying to get this one and Rhythm Heaven 3DS localized. These games are not text heavy so it should not take forever.

Also, Tetra's tutorials can be skipped. The bad part is the rest of the f2p roadblocks. For beginners, she gave a pretty good explanation of rules, though. Are you a Picross veteran? Hit the skip button and you can complete the puzzle without help.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

FFS Nintendo. Get this out already!

BTW Sorry for the gravedig, but I did create the original thread.

Picross E7 is also MIA. It was released in Japan in April, if I recall correctly.

And look at it now, a corpse of what it once was!

Anyway, I would like some more 3D picross, but I guess the first didn't sell too well

The thread might not have much life left in it, but it's hardly a corpse and is still relevant.

The game was launched in October 2015 and it was going to be a worldwide release at one point. Here we are, almost a year later and it's still not been released anywhere outside of Japan. Like has been said, maybe it just didn't sell. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it as an eShop title, if not a cart release, but my hopes are fading. Maybe it's getting a lick of paint for an NX release...

Incidentally, Dr. Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training (released with the idiotically P.C.-friendly title "Concentration Training" in the U.S.) was also announced for Europe and Australia (with an official Australian classification to boot, which isn't cheap) and over 3 ½ years since its U.S. release, it still shows no signs of ever seeing the light of day in EU/AU, even as an eShop exclusive. Furthermore, the game was released over 4 years ago in Japan!

So, sadly there is a precedent for announced games not being released.
