I deleted all my 3ds photos off my SD card from my laptop. Now on my 3ds, it acts like I didn't delete any of them (except I can't see the photos, obviously.) I also keep getting an error that spotpass tried to access the SD card and couldn't because it was full. I've restarted my 3ds several times. I also emptied my recycle bin on my laptop, fyi.

How do I fix this?

if the files went to the recycle bin you've only deleted them from the laptop and not the SD card.
anything in an external storage(SD card, pendrive, etc.) is deleted directly and doesn't go through the recycle bin.
how to do it:
open the SD card's folder in the PC
highlight the photos you want to delete
press the delete button on the key board with the files still highlighted
do not just drag the files to the recycle bin(or to another place in your PC) it'll only copy the photos from the SD card into your PC!

No. I deleted them from the SD card too. I know how it works. They are gone.

I am posting online about it because I am sure I am not the only one with this problem.

I tried that. It still displays the number of photos I used to have.
